American International Hospital (AIH)

My wife delivered a baby here and my daughter also went here for clinical examination when she got sick. In general, this hospital is good enough with friendly staff, high skilled doctors (in Pediatric and obstetrics department).
Ps: I changed hospital last time from VM hospital (one of the biggest private hospitals in VN) to this hospital because of very poor services of it lol.

Excellent service with great care from the doctor. My family has been always coming here whenever we need diagnosis or treatment. Pediatrics is also very good if you have kids. ENT with Dr. My is very good if you live in Dist 2. He is very careful about prescribing antibiotics for you.

I am very satisfied with the service of the staff and competence of most doctors. In the past I used to fly to Bangkok for my checkups or use FV for when needing medical attention. Now I rely only on AIH.
Not all doctors are equally good, but that’s the case in all hospitals.
I see reviews complaining about cost. But when you see the high standards of the facilities, it is justified.
Waiting time has improved a lot and again, comparing to other hospitals, AIH is not so bad.
I recommended it to many and all the friends who followed my advise were very happy.
One hint, that is valid for all medical centers: chances are that if you treat the staff nicely, with a smile, they will take better care of you!

I reaally like this hospital, i have baby he is a 3years old. The doctor is so kind and good for my baby i always visit here

Dr. Tran Vo was so kind and patient to our kids. If your kid is sick, you need to see him. All the employees here are also very friendly.

I had my baby delivered here by Dr. Van and have been having him cared for by the execellent pediatrists team here. The service is amazing, the care is gentle, but moreover the doctors here are excellent in terms of technical capabilitirs and patient care. Highly recommended.

Price is much more affordable than Family Medical Practice (FMP) in Thao Dien. For example for consultation & 1 antiseptic cream costed me $200 USD, AIH costed me $200+ USD for consultation & 14 different tests! So much better!

because my son's hand was torn, I visited here with him.
After anesthesia, sewn and tetanus injection were completed. From the receptionist, doctors and nurse specialist were extremely kind that made me quite satisfied.
The most impressive thing is the medical bill was very reasonable compared to other Korean hospitals.

Fyi, they have some interpreters to support who dont understand Vietnamese.

In the past i have always visited FMP & FV hospital, but I have to say i was highly impressed by AIH. From Customer service, facilities and especially the productivity. Everything was done smoothly without any issues.

I read some reviews mentioning the prices are very high, in our case i have to say they were very fair and slightly under some other hospitals.

AIH definitely on the list of hospitals you can go to in Hcmc.

After a bad traffic accident I admitted myself to this hospital. I had badly broken my left leg along with both arms. On arrival I immediately felt I was in the right place. Dr Bao explained in detail that I needed 3 operations and explained the procedure. I asked if getting me well enough to fly could be a priority. I was amazed to discover that Dr Bao had organised a further two surgeons. They simultaneously carried out all 3 procedures to an excellent standard. I can not praise the staff here enough. Nothing was ever a problem and if I asked for anything, it was provided immediately. The staff went far beyond what I considered their duties. They genuinely cared about my well being and my comfort and happiness. I sincerely owe them a huge debt of gratitude. I would like to name a few individuals that deserve my highest praise. The excellent Dr Bao, Nhi and colleagues from ICU. And from the surgical ward where I spent nearly a month I would like to mention the exceptional staff that cared for me. These include Head nurse Thu. Nurses My, Thuy, Hien, Chi, Hoang, Thanh Thuy and care assistant Ngoc. Finally huge thanks to the excellent Physiotherapist Chien. You have all turned what could have been a miserable and painful stay in hospital. Into a time of loving care, friendship and laughter. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. If you should need a hospital in Ho Chi Minh, go to AIH you will be in excellent hands.

This is the real deal. Modern, clean, clued up doctors who know what they're doing (unlike a lot of other hospitals in Saigon). I came in on a Sunday morning super early with crippling pain. They examined me properly and made me as comfortable as possible while I waited a short time to meet the doctor. He then actually diagnosed me correctly unlike the mugs at FV. They charge way less than other hospitals too. I'd definitely recommend this place for foreigners and locals alike.

I had a deep cut in my foot which got infected and needed minor surgery to clean out dead infected tissue. I was previously in treatment at one of the western clinics in Thao Dien and was not happy with manners and the skills of the doctors there. I looked around for a different place to do the procedure and got it done by Dr. Bao an orthopedic surgeon at AIH. I felt very well taken care of and all went well. I stayed in for 2 days, the food was great and the team was very kind and empathetic while I was in pain. I want to mention the nurse thatchanged my bandages for a few weeks almost every day. Sadly I don’t recall her name. It was a painful procedure and she was as careful and kind as one can wish for. Very happy it was her that took cre of me!
I don’t think my treatment was to complicated but the experience I had was very good and I would def go here again if i had a similar problem.
