Saigon Cafe Bar Kitchen

Saigon Cafe Bar Kitchen is a good place to relax before a flight. It has good views to the gates and runway. We experienced fast, polite and friendly service. Prices are higher than in the city, but lower than at other international airports.

The char kway teow was perfectly charred, but needed a little more soy sauce. I give it a 7/10. The special fried rice however was 11/10. Give this wok master a raise 👏 I'm taking off one star because when I asked for my coconut to be cut (for access to delicious coco meat), they replied with "sorry that is something we cant do because airport rules says we can't bring a knife". I looked at the waiter oddly, and then looked at the mango sticky rice dessert that had perfectly sliced mangoes. I'm thinking a knife was needed for that?

The vegetable samosas are vegan, probably. I asked a waiter and he said there's no egg or milk in it

Over-priced bland sloppy food. Yuk. The most expensive...and the worst food of our whole holiday. Waitress was very sweet.

Das Ambiente ist für ein Flughafen-Restaurant sehr gut und auch der Service war top.
Das Essen war eher gemischt. Das Chicken Massala war ganz okay und eine ordentliche Portion. Wir haben dazu Salat mit extra Chicken bestellt und das Chicken war ehrlich gesagt die kleinste Portion, die ich je gesehen hab 😂 das war wirklich ein Witz (nur ein paar ganz dünne Slices, siehe Bilder). Dazu kommt, dass es verhältnismäßig teuer ist. Schade!

Disappointing service, we did not get served so went up to the till to be served. Were informed someone would come over when they hadn’t. The place was empty and staff were free so there was no particular reason as to why they hadn’t. Food also took a while to come out.

Very bad attitude from the staff when I bought a cup of coffee not from their restaurant and they just ask me go away. Because not allow others food and drink outside but other person also bring others food and drink from outside but they no complain anything. Is it fair for me? If you don’t allow any food and drink from outside you should put a signboard there don’t discriminate by looking. Recommend for all of guest consider by choosing this restaurant

Most expensive place we ate at in Vietnam. The menu is in US$ not 1000s of VND like everywhere else in Vietnam.

Shockingly bad food and coffee. A VERY bad last memory of a great time here.

A total of US$25 for 2 bad coffees and 2 bad Bahn mi op la. Elsewhere it would be difficult to pay $5.

Avoid if you can, just go to Highland across the way.
