Absolutely wonderful menu and peaceful atmosphere. 5-star drinks and food at excellent prices. It offers “the lost recipes of Vietnam,” and whilst I don’t know much about Vietnamese food, it certainly delivers on the face of it. I am also excited to join their cooking class! Pictures are of the tamarind beef (recommended), pork belly with pepper (a bit salty), fresh spring rolls, and two different watermelon drinks. Wide selection on the menu, and they do deliveries! Hoping this becomes one of my regular spots.

A tremendously good find in a relatively dingy part of Ho Chih Minh City. The atmosphere is clean and cool, the service is a step above what you normally find in HCMC, and the food is prepared with tremendous care and concern. I highly recommend exploring the Specialities menu because you will find things that you won't see anywhere else in HCMC from regional specialities to "lost recipes of old Viet Nam". The deceptively simple "Magnolia House Tofu" is simply amazing as is the ubiquitous cha gio; here is takes on new flavors and dimensions.

Superb restaurant! Conveniently located near the backpacker area and Ben Than market, it's surprisingly quiet and relaxing. The decor is elegant and music soothing . The staff offer true hospitality and a very pleasant dining experience. Also speak good English. I believe their mission is to preserve and present the " lost recipes " of Vietnam and what a beautiful idea. Tried the claypot snakehead fish and sautéed pumpkin flower, both killers. I was blown away by the layers of flavors and attention to details. Will definitely comeback and try other dishes. Reasonable price

Healthy and delicious combination recipes of food and drinks. Cozy decoration. Very memorable moment when you enjoy lunch or dinner here. Highly recommended.

Quiet and cosy restaurant. Sought shelter here from the rain and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious menu items and the warmth of the staff. Offers valet motorbike parking.

Lovely space for dining or working filled with natural light and traditional tiles. The food was good and came in nice portions, vegetarian options are available. Most dishes were between 70-150k.

Great food cooked in authentic local style. The mekong catfish is superb, so tasty and delicious. Price is reasonable. Highly recommend!

Super delicious! Must try dish is the Shrimp with Passionfruit sauce! It is to die for!

They served many good quality Vietnamese traditional dishes with the fair price. Besides, this place also have good decorate, fast service and kind staffs. I recommended this restaurant for who need the cozy place in the city centre to hang out with lover

Great ambience and decor, along with a strong menu of traditional Vietnamese food. Place is cozy and laid back where you can just come and chill with friends. They have free WiFi in the restaurant as well. We sat at the 2nd (mezzanine) level, where it overlooks the 1st level with vintage looking light bulbs.

This place is very unique in this city. Their menu is extensive with all different kinds of offerings at very reasonable prices, great for a catching a good value bite or impressing a date. The interior is beautiful and the service is quite good.

This place is close to fine-dining with local taste, good service, great food & drink with relatively good price (dishes are served with quite small portion) but worth to try. Quite & nice ambience.

*You can have all the traditional food of Vietnam with an acceptable price. The food is truely delicious and the service is perfect.
Btw I recommend that you should order " Magnolia fried rice".
