Fume | Japanese Modern Cuisine

9 Dec 2023, celebrate and also farewell for my partner at Fume. We go for 2mil omakase menu as said that was their signatures.
Well trained service staffs.
Food was amazing, each portion is small but just perfect for us.
Whoever to saigon should pay a visit to Fume.

My wife and I tried the omakase and drink pairing. Everything was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was very chill and welcoming. The chef was very informative and very entertaining. I will be telling all my friends and family about this and will come back everytime we are visiting Vietnam.

Went for the New Years Omakase it was incredible food, drinks and service. Incredible value for the quality of sushi and sake.

Astounding all I can say. Great ambiance active and kind staff including the chefs who interacted and took pictures with me and my friends after our meal and a great time not to mention the great food. Although seeming pricey, some place like this in the stars will set you back triple and probably be less personal for your experience so yeah if your a tourist looking to splurge on quality Japanese luxury, this is a diamond.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in town. The chef is not only attentive to every single detail of the food, but also care about the feeling of the customers. The taste, the way food is mixed and also the decoration; all of them bring the food here to the next level.

I have been to many omakase places in and out of Saigon, and Fume is definitely TOP of my list in the city. Can’t believe it took me this long to discover.

The sashimi is very very fresh, high quality. And especially, all other cooked courses on the menu taste divine too, which is a rare feat for a Japanese restaurant around here. Staff is all lovely, including a young Japanese chef from Osaka who served us today. Will def come back!

We came following a friend’s recommendation and it is among my top 3 fave restaurants. Highly recommend to sit at the bar counter to see the chefs in action. We went for the Omakase dinner and I loved every single dish, also we ordered as an extra XXL Hokkaido oysters which were terrific. Service and food were all very high standards.

Sat by the chef counter and ordered the omakase set. For what it's worth, the ingredients were quality and well prepared. A full display of different tastes and yet perfectly complementary. I ordered uni and otoro on the side and they reminded me of the good times in Japan. Would strongly recommend if you are carving for a special meal or celebrating an occasion. I also learned that fume means smoky - which is their signature way of preparing the cooked dishes. Will visit again when I'm back in hcm.

We was not able to try many dishes, but we recommend their stuffed chicken wing. Other than that, service was good. Their staff are attentive while keeping a good distance from our table.

We had Omakase course, 2M++ each, which wasn't cheap, but well worth it.

The restaurant, unlike most others fancy (overrated) restaurants, has superb taste, likely the single best taste. Each piece has its own unique. You can clearly see the devotion of the cooks in both creating and making the dishes. We like Hokkaido Sachi, but this restaurant is way better (and more expensive, to be fair).

They claimed the fish (and most other food) was high end, imported freshly. Not sure how much was true, but the taste, the texture and the look were clearly superior.

The experience was also immersive, thanks to the food and the commentary from the cooks. So much that we didn't have a chance to look around to see what the place looked like.

We tried the omasake which was 2M for each person, not included tax and service fee yet. The course was perfectly cooked and presented. And the portion were also made perfectly. My most impressive dish was the rice bowl with sea urchin and wagyu beef. Every ingredientjust perfectly complimented each other in a bowl. In short, it was a fully satisfied fine dinning experience.

I have been to a couple of luxury restaurants people recommend and it is easy to pick this restaurant as the best one.

There is a Japanese young chef with skillful and kindness. He introduced me about the cuisines what they have kindly and made rice balls for us because we had to go to the airport for return. It also has beautiful atmosphere too.

You must visit here.

Excellent high end dining option for Saigon. The atmosphere, food, and service were all A+ standard, and the team made sure that we were comfortable and fully provided for. I particularly enjoyed talking to the staff, chef, sommelier and learning more about Omakase, Sake, and cooking techniques. An excellent experience!
