Quan Nem, located on bustling Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, is a great option for satisfying your nem cua be (spring rolls made with sea crab) cravings in District 1. The restaurant boasts a casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick and delicious bite.

I started with their signature nem cua be, which lived up to the hype. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and packed with fresh, flavorful crabmeat inside. The accompanying dipping sauce was a nice blend of sweet, sour, and spicy, complementing the nem perfectly.

However, while the nem was the star of the show, other aspects of the dining experience could be improved. The menu is limited, focusing mainly on nem and bun cha (grilled pork with noodles). If you're looking for a wider variety of Vietnamese dishes, you might want to consider other options. Additionally, the seating is basic and can get crowded during peak hours.

Overall, Quan Nem is a solid choice for a quick and tasty nem fix. However, if you're looking for a more extensive menu or a more refined dining experience, you might want to explore other restaurants in District 1.

This was my favourite meal in hcm. The meats were juicy and super flavourful and pairs so perfectly with the noodles and the sauce(I got the southern style). So good I came here twice on my trip. Though it can be pretty noisy and hectic, and the food may be slow if it's super crowded but definitely worth it.

In the photo we ordered an extra set of just the meat cause it's too good.

Their signature Bun Cha & square spring rolls are incredibly delicious, their special vinegar makes dipping fish sauce more unique. Service took more time than expected since there were a lots of diners during lunch timeframe.

When you have the locals eating here, you know it is a good local food and it is one!
They only have 3 dishes in their menu. crab spring roll , bacon and meat ball. They are cooked to perfection with the heat pot keeping them warm. You can order bacon only or the set. The tofu dessert is also a must try. Not as strong as Hongkong dim sum place style, but it is a good closure to a meal.
The place atmosphere is ok , but they really need to separate Shopee driver pick up area with dining place.

Food: simple but excites the taste buds
Service: good as it is, waiting time is not long even though there were 3 numbers before me
Atmosphere: it's a famous restaurant, expect to be crowded during meal times. Come on off hours.

Verdict: would come again for the grilled pork and noodles but will skip deep fried crab roll.

Clean environment. Friendly staff and good service. BBQ Pork was tasty tender and crab spring roll was crispy. Can choose between stronger flavoured sauce from the North or lighter sauce from the South. Very enjoyable meal.

This place is famous for 'Bun cha' ( vietnamese quisine ). Especially, here has heating facilities for meat. It makes meat crispy and it's delicious more. I love this. Even thouth so many people in here, the staff is fast and well arranged.

This is my first time ever being able to customize my bun cha. You can select all patties, all bacon or the normal mix of both, then you can pick Southern style rich cool broth, Northern style light cool broth, or Northern style light warm broth. Tasty and delicious (as bun cha always is!)

I was excited to try this restaurant on recommendation of its authenticity.

It didn’t disappoint!

They only have a few items on the menu, we got the combination with the meatballs and bacon. 🤤

Simple but super delicious... there are only 3 menu: Spring roll (big one served with hot plate and the waiter will cut it into 4 pieces), Bun Cha, and Sweet Tofu as dessert... I would recommend Southern sauce (sweet and salty) one

Place was crowded and you supposed to wait till you get a room. But maybe it’s because it’s a well known restaurant even to the locals. I love the food and friendly staff but they weren’t able to speak English. I had to wait a while cause the clerk didn’t get what I have said, while my company was eating upstair 🥲

This is my favorite spot for bun cha in saigon.
They are clean and have good buncha. They also have super delicious nem cua be and my all time favorite dessert - chilling sweet tofu ( Me and my friend always order 4 everytime we finish our meal 🤤)
This place is very popular, especially, to foreigner, 70% of customers are not vietnamese lol

Normally we eat at the restaurant because of the crispiness of spring rolls. I was surprised when the spring rolls delivered were still crispy and fragrant. The packaging is very clean and neat. Clean vegetables and vermicelli are packaged in pieces very convenient and clean.

Visited on a Saturday. Really busy but didn’t have to wait too long for a table of 2 (est. 10-15mins). We ordered the deep fried crab spring roll and the charcoal grilled pork. This has become my favourite Vietnamese dish now that I’ve tried it here. The dessert cold tofu with a hint of ginger is also equally amazing. I highly recommend it. Prices are also reasonable for such quality! Will definitely be back!

Bun Cha Hanoi - Thin pork belly slices and patties are grilled with a sweet-ish fish sauce marinade that has permeated throughout every bite, with juices bursting out of the patties, and the belly fat melting in your mouth. Obviously served with a bunch of herbs, vermicelli and lettuce.

Fried Crab Roll - a texture marvel, crispy and delicate skin wraps the tender, piping hot glass noodle and crab filling, perfect for wrapping in some greens.

My favorite Nem joint in Saigon. We come here quite often during our stay in the city. The food is delicious and consistent. The food is cook-to-order so you might have to wait 15-20 minutes but it is hot and fresh. These nem pair perfectly with a bottle of iced cold Heineken. It gets very crowded at lunch and dinner. Highly recommended!!!

Really good food; easy to order since there are very few choices to make. The service and atmosphere made me feel like a local. If you want to treat a Vietnamese customer to dinner, they will respect you for choosing this restaurant, even though it is easy on your budget.
