Aguo Izakaya

We went early and reached approximately 5.30pm with a hungry toddler, the staff were really nice and allowed us to enter to look at the menu before their official opening hours at 6pm.

The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very polite and attentive, attending to our needs immediately whenever we needed. The chef at the counter seat was also very friendly to talk to us, making the dinner experience more memorable.

We appreciate that the food was serve fast and most of them tasted good too, just a few misses such as the salmon sashimi which was a tad salty and expensive for the taste then.

The food is delicious. Located near Saigon Central market. Friendly staff and good service. I recommend visiting at lunch as the menu options are better and good value.

all skewers were very well seasoned and grilled, so all are very juicy. We came there during Happy hour, but they only had 7 beers left, so we got to order other drinks too.

I had a lunch in here today. There are so many lunch menu and the food is delicious. And the staff is kind and the price is reasonable too. I strongly recommend here.

If you’re thinking about eating here, here’s your sign! Coming from someone who lives in Orange County in California and has had yakitori there and in Japan, this place is good. It taste like they glaze the yakitori in sauce and it’s bomb since I’ve never had it like that elsewhere. The yakitori selection isn’t as big imo, but they have other side items and sashimi. The chicken skin was my favorite.

The staff was also super nice and accommodating! We had a big party and since it wasn’t busy in the restaurant, they combined two tables for us upstairs. The food and drinks came fast as well.

Overall, would come here again next time I’m in Saigon.

This is a relaxing Izakaya just off Nguyen Hue. The chicken karage was excellent. And the Sapporo! I’ll be back.

They have the menu in languages so you don't have to translate. I have the ramen and cold noodles which are tasty. I love the marinated medium-boiled eggs, i wanna have more but i'm full already. I'll recommend the restaurant to my friends next time

Nice place to have lunch

The service here is 10/10. When i walked in, they greet me with warm welcome. The staff is friendly and fast as well. I'm quite into the shochu and lemon which is fresh for the hot weather.
