I had the best experience here.

I bought a motorcycle and spent a few days deciding what to buy. They were very patient with me and gave me all the information I needed.

Once i made my decision, I got a helmet included for free and a fresh oil change. They even attached a USB charger for me.

I felt like there was no pressure at all to make a purchase and felt more like I was visiting my friend for a chat.

He is a good guy and i discovered he does many things to help the local community as I experienced first hand after joining him to help.

If you want to buy or rent a motorcycle and not be a victim of usual sales tactics then this is the place to go.

It helped me to know that some of the money I spent ended up helping the local community.

We brought some bike to travel around vietnam, they were fairly priced, well maintained. I flew back for a visa run and rented a bike for the day, very good price. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a bike to buy or rent Here. Very genuine guy that wanted to help us out

Purchased a bike off these guys 3 weeks ago. Completed a 3,226km trip without a single issue very happy with the service and bike condition. I will be using these guy again once I return.

Can't recommend bao enough, very kind person that is generous and has flawless english. Sold me a clean xr150 that got me, my partner and all our stuff through vietnam, laos, cambodia and back to vietnam with no problem what so ever. An honest dealer nonetheless, if you need a bike hit up Saigon Happy bikers. There's a lot of dodgy sales in town but this isn't one of those shops by a long shot.

I bought my Detech 140cc brand new for $750 us and the owner informed me he would buy the bike back off me at his partner shop in Hanoi.

4500km and 2 months later I sell the bike back for a very reasonable price!

I would 100% reccomend purchasing a new bike and spend more time on the road than at the mechanic!

With basic regular maintenance and the initial cost of the bike it cost me around $0.04c per km during this trip!

Change oil every 500km ($4us) check the bolts and spokes now and then and you'll have a reliable bike!

Also, customise your bike and give it a name. Tiger Queen is shown in the pictures😎

Best motorbike rental in Saigon! Very friendly staff, they speak very good English and very helpful. If you are staying in D1 then i would highly recommend you rent your motorbike from here.

The gentlemen who runs this, is really helpful and friendly in my case. This alone makes me rate it 5 Stars.
I guess the selection of vehicles could be bigger, and if course: some of them lobby have flaws. But that's to be expected, and I'm cool with it.

It's easy to find the place since it's just on the street. The place has large selection of bikes. The owner is very friendly and responsive. When you rent a bike, you can just leave your passport there and pay as you return the bike. The price per day was 7 when I rented from them. I'll definitely come again if I come back to Saigon.

We bought 2 bikes from there and drove from Sajgon to Hanoi. We didn't have any problems with bikes. The owner speaks very good English and you can trust his opinions. We were able to sell back the bikes to him after we finished our trip which was very helpful. I would really recommend this solution for everyone planning similar trip. And for sure happy bikers is good and trustful place to get bikes 🙂

Very smooth experience! We rented for only a day, the owner was super chill about it and gave us a good price, the bike was in good condition. He let us decide when we want to return the bike (evening or morning) and in general had a very welcoming attitude :)

Sold our beloved bike for almost the same price we bought it for. He also gave us a bike for the remaining time in town. Had the feeling the bike is in good hands now and both of us made a good deal. Btw his dog is SUGAR. Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic overall experience buying a bike from Saigon Happy Bikers! After scouting the surrounding bike dealerships and rental shops, we decided to go with Happy Bikers due to the friendly staff, affordable prices and ease of purchase. My partner and I ended up doing a trip from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi on a Honda Win 2019 model bike (140cc) and had a blast. Only a few minor mechanical touch ups (brakes, chain tighten, oil change etc.) along the way which was expected. Bao made the whole experience super smooth and as an added bonus, was able to send our big travel backpacks to Hanoi ahead of time which we picked up at the end of the trip. Once in Hanoi, we sold the bike to a partner bike dealership in the Old Quarter (at over 50% of the price we purchased it for) which was suggested to us upon buying the bike. It ended up being cheaper for us purchasing the bike over renting it.
I would 100% recommend Happy Bikers to anyone wanting to purchase or rent a bike in Saigon.

P.S. Make sure to check International License requirements and travel insurance PDS before renting or buying a bike in Vietnam. We got pulled over by the police and fined for not having the right license. Take care on the roads, speed limits are low (usually 40-60km max) and avoid Highway 1 if travelling north (super busy with trucks and buses).
