Pretty Backpackers House

I loved staying here. It was such a homely vibe! The owners are so hospitable, breakfast is yummy and the house is clean and tidy. They hosted a long table, candle lit family dinner while I was there which is a great opportunity to meet other travellers. This hostel is a good balance of creature comforts and social opportunities. I highly
recommend.

Best hostel in Vietnam! Madame and Mister pretty are kind, welcoming, funny and very heartwarming people. The beds are comfy, the (included!) breakfast tasty, and the people you meet in this place are great (big recommendations for solo travellers!) I will come back, just to stay more time in this place :-) also: the roof top terrace is just beautiful ! 12/10!

The super kind and welcoming hosts make you feel right at home on arrival. They moved my bike inside every night, were cracking jokes from the start, and are in general just very approachable. (Bath)rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and a delicious breakfast is cooked for you every morning. Grab a big water bottle, soda or beer from the fridge for no more than a supermarket price. Be sure your stay covers Saturday night to experience the family dinner, however it's easy to meet other guests downstairs anytime. The lockers are a bit small, a tiny inconvenience compared to all the other details this place gets right. Will certainly come back if I have the chance!

Easily the best hostel experience I’ve had anywhere in the world. Cozy is the best word to describe the atmosphere. Pretty makes you feel like you are at home and she makes such a nice breakfast on the house. If you are looking to meet other travellers don’t miss that breakfast!

She is just quite obviously an honest person who likes what she does. Would’ve stayed here longer if I could.

Mr and Mrs Pretty are super hosts. The hostel is clean and the beds are very big. If you are around on Fridays i recommend joining in their family dinner and having some happy water.

Such a lovely hostel! The owners are incredibly kind and attentive. They pay attention to the small details and it shows. It feels super cozy like you’re at home in their family. They let guests check in early morning after the night bus and sleep for no extra cost. This hostel is spotlessly clean and I say that as someone who is picky! Thank you so much for such a nice time at your hostel!

Beautiful hostel with delicious complimentary breakfast. Pretty was a great host she let us checkin early & take rest in early morning & even let us do a evening checkout. The hostel had organised amazing Christmas Eve celebrations with great food & wine and lot of fun activities. The hospitality by the host was truly commendable.

The best place to stay in Dalat. The owners are so friendly, hospitable and kind. It's very clean and comfortable. I felt like being at home. Amazing breakfast and location. I do recommend staying at Pretty Backpackers.

Finally one hostel who really got to know Backpackers needs!
In Pretty Backpackers House, everything is working in order as it supposed to be : from the facilities (sewage, faucet, tape etc) through the bedding to cleanliness (regular service maintained) and most importantly, a warm welcoming from a warm person who really tried her best.
Hostel is well located in the center (gym center and restaurants close by 1 mn walking, night market and lac 8 mn walking) but not in a noizy neighborhood, place is warm with cute decoration and lovely rooftop surrounded by plants.
Dorm are intimate (not like those 20 beds factory)
Reliable Wifi, sockets and lights near the beds are WORKING, laudry and (good) scooter available for a fair price.
Hot shower, free towel (a real toweling not a random cheap piece of fabrics), soap for handwash but even creambody and shampoo available for free in every floor and who are regularly replaced along with dustbins.
Breakfast is good (different from the dry tasteless bread and cheap bad coffee that you will usually get when it comes to "breakfast included" somewhere else.
Lovely lady speak good English (btw not that i ask for it but still a nice plus) and she's very kind and helpfull.
Pretty Backpackers House is just a great place if you want to spent quality time in Dalat, chill and rest and the definition of "good value for money".
All those greedy, lazier, cheap, badfaith, overrated hostels should learn from Pretty Backpacker Hostel how to run a proper business in professional respectful way.

Ms Pretty is amazing and makes you feel welcome from the first second you arrive. She gives great advice and genuinely makes sure you have everything you could possibly need. The rooms and amenities leave nothing to be desired and the location is really nice and central, yet quiet as well. 11/10 :)

I really enjoyed my time in this wonderful place the hosts created. I arrived in the early morning and was very grateful I was able to check in early. The owners always prepare a really nice breakfast and vary in their meals. The rooms were big and well equipped, the bathrooms very clean and they even had a lovely rooftop. The other guests and I were so amazed by the hospitality and just great atmosphere the owners created there. Location is great, lots of cafes and restaurants around and still a quiet street with no noise/light pollution.

Wonderful place very fun to do a dinner there, we did 2 day bike from nah trang from here through and the first day sucked and cost 100 usd more, I would highly reccomend the Sunday day bike to nah trang for 80 usd it was amazing and saves 100 usd
The pretty easy rider tour for 40 usd was good I would reccomend it

Everything was great! If you do come to Dalat this is the place to stay. Owners are really nice and helpful. You have the option to rent a motorbike with them and other activities and tours. Special mention to the breakfast that it delicious !! Thank you

I absolutely recommend this hostel if you are staying in Da Lat. The dorms and beds were very clean and comfortable, the price was great and the location is close to plenty of restaurants and attractions. We also rented motorbikes with them and had no problems whatsoever. Probably my favourite part about the place was the owners. They were extremely welcoming and there to help with everything. It really felt like I was at home. Definitely a great place to stay if you have the chance!

We stayed at pretty backpackers house for 3 nights in February. We were welcomed by the owner pretty who gave us tea and told us about Dalat. We had a great time at the hostel and had a great breakfast made every morning. Pretty and her husband were fantastic hosts and the rooms and location were perfect. Couldn’t recommend the place highly enough!

One of the best hostels we stayed in Vietnam. It’s in the middle of town and everything is well reachable by foot. The woman who runs the place is the cutest, friendliest and most helpful person in Da Lat.
Rooms are clean, mattresses are a little hard but we still had a great night there. Great WiFi connection.
They also offer a variation of tours for decent prices. We did the easy rider tour which turned out to be a giant tour around the area with countless stops along the way with super friendly local motorbike drivers who made us feel very safe. I have to add that the coffee stop on the tour was connected to an “animal park” with horrible conditions for the animals. If you think about doing the tour and don’t want to support the place, maybe tell the drivers to skip this stop.

I visited here 5 years ago and it was a place I could not forget! When I had the opportunity to visit Vietnam again I made sure that I had to come here to say hello to the amazing hosts!

We spent time reminiscing about the time we spent and catching up on old stories and pictures and I truly felt like it was visiting family.

For anyone looking to visit Dalat, then make sure you book Pretty Backpackers House and I can guarantee you will be made to feel like you are home.

The location is great. Close to the market so I could get there whenever I wanted - you may need a map at first since the Da Lat road is quite complex.
The facility and amenities were nice too. The bathroom which also used as a shower room was clean every time so I didn't have to worry about hygienic issues. It also had a body wash and a shampoo. The bed was also clean and well laundered with a thick comforter prepared so I could have a very comfy night - since Da Lat is located on highland, the thick comforter would be a very good point for those who can easily feel cold. Plus, though the price is so cheap, they even offered a towel for free!
If you want to eat something or do your work, you can utilize a rooftop area. The rooftop is also used as a smoking place but when I stayed it was mostly used as a rest place since there were no smokers.
The breakfast was included too. A cup of tea or coffee and Banh Mi style meal that consists of baguette, scrambled egg, cucumber slices and tomato slices were served which were super tasty.
Mostly, the staffs were so kind. Basically they could speak fluent English so I didn't have any communication problem. During check-in they introduced the hostel facilities and nearby attractions in Da Lat area so kindly. Most of all, I lost my passport when I was in Da Lat, and the staffs helped me a lot - they even check the camera to track until when and until where I had had my passport to specify the moment I had lost my passport. Thanks to their help, I could find it back and take a plane back to my home country.
I definitely recommend you to stay here. I can say this is the hostel ever in my life.

We had a great stay here!!! Mrs. Pretty is so nice and keeps everything so tidy & clean. Mr. Pretty is stern and quiet but once you crack him he is very sweet and nice. He really helped me with the motorbike and he is such a character while drinking happy water and doing karaoke during the family dinner :) Thank you for making Dalat so special!!!!
