Da Lat Diocese Cathedral

A amous Central Catholic location. The church has many historical stories and spans many generations of Da Lat people. This is an iconic tourist destination that must be visited.
Easy to find location, located on a high slope, clean path, convenient to move

This is the first time I visited Dalat church. This place is very beautiful and large, with free parking for everyone. The manager here is very friendly and helpful to tourists, he introduced and lectured about this place to us. The dogs here are very lovely and hospitable.

Looks wonderful and very well maintained by the authorities. Situated very near to city centre and can be viewed and visited by walk from market place easily. Construction was done more than 50 years back and has withstood the condition well.

Attended 6:00 mass on the Feast of Ascension. Came 10 minutes early, the place filled up to standing room only. Powerful singing, beautiful Mass. Visit the gift shop behind the cathedral for a souvenir. After Mass we saw an angel crossing a busy street, looking neither right nor left, trusting only in God. When we looked again, she had disappeared we knew not where.

Very nice surrounding with garden and elevated views, peaceful atmosphere around. There's a wheelchair-accessible car park. We've got there sometimes in the early morning, or weekend or popular times, usually not too busy time at 5am, 5pm, 7am.

We chose this church to attend Sunday mass today since it has so many hours to choose. Beautiful church to visit!

I remember back in 2014 when I was 12 years old boy - the first time ever I came to Dalat and went to this church in an early Sunday morning with my Mom. Although I don’t go inside the church but I love the feeling of coming back to an old place after years. It is still beautiful as I thought from the outside and I spend some minutes praying about my life at this place. Thanks God everytime I come to a church, I’m honest with myself a lot…

Just WOW! I was so impressed!

So, this is my first time to came in Da Lat. There's a beautiful place with a new vibes and a good weather! It's not crowded like in central town (Ho Chi Minh City). I loved Da Lat with a kind people!

We came for Sunday Easter mass. Mass in Vietnamese and also has screens to join in songs etc. Beautiful interior with the high ceiling and stained glass windows. Worthwhile seeing.

Beautiful and peaceful. Great view of Da Lat. My only regret is not being able to attend mass here. Do not miss this on your visit to Da Lat

it look like EU churches a lot and it architectures are very historical and the detail of the arches on the roof are very beautiful and the atmosphere in there is very peace full. i highly recommend this place if you want a feel of EU churches.

Go to Dalat, everybody never forget to visit this Cathedral or participate the mass on Sunday. This is old church built since French colony where you will find the peace of mind timing in the cool climate. Come and see one time in your life!

Very beautiful spot to take pictures. Did not go inside. Benches to sit on side of church outside. Charge for parking, but you can park a motorcycle outside the gate for free.

History of Da Lat Cathedral is associated with the history of formation and development of Da Lat city.
The current Da Lat Cathedral was officially started on Sunday, July 19, 1931, laid the first stone by Bishop Colomba Dreyer, built according to the plan of priest Celeste Nicolas, the priest at that time.

A majestic and awesome looking cathedral. Quiet place and serene. Not much time to explore then...as it started to drizzle.
