This store is such a wonderful hidden gem for collectors of retro and vintage games and merch. The prices are also out of this world. Definitely spend some time wandering around this shop: it's small but there's so many different things to see! 10/10 will come back next time we're in the area <3

This shop is great for collectors, feeling of nostalgia immediately overwhelm the senses when you walk in the door. lovers of all things iconic in gaming, comics, and scifi will love this place. There is definitely something for all ages at this location, card packs, toys, games & systems, legos, stuffed animals and all fanfare related to these things, this store brings about happy, happy, joy, joy felings throughout . The owner is trustworthy and fair, so much since coming to Albany, I consider him a good friend. Hope your visit is as fruitful as mine.

My son found two games he had been looking for and was very pleased with the prices. The couple working were very nice. They did not know if they had a certain item and they took the time to call their son (the owner) who was happy to answer my son's question during his time off. Very nice experience.

Entering Bricks & Joysticks just feels like some type of magical portal to everything you ever wanted as a child.

The guy that has been there both times I’ve gone (possibly the owner?) has been super helpful and super knowledgeable. If you’re looking for something, he definitely already knows about it and if he doesn’t have it, you can leave your name and phone number to get a call when/if he ever gets it in. I honestly hate sharing that tip with others but it really does make this game/collectible shop all the more special. Seriously this place will take you back to your childhood no matter how old or young you are.

Also to be selling Wii Motion Plus Accessories for the same amount they went for back in the day is a total steal! I will absolutely keep coming back.

Please take a stop by sometime, it is one-of-a-kind.

Very decent little shop. If you're a new collector. The guy who runs it, I think he owns it is very cool. He clicked with my son and they talked video games for a bit.

Just on a whim I waddled on in to this place (been wanting to since it popped up in February) and I was, no joke, unironically struck. An ACTUAL retro gaming and toy store. It has four different rooms full of stuff I dreamed about when I was in middle school.

Seems to be an ever changing selection and you never know what they'll have. Picked up some wii games and pokemon cards from here. They had some gamecube games and n64 games aswell. Also just lots of nostalgic toys & trinkets & such. Fun lil spot to check out.

I’ve been to this store a few times and every time I’m there I feel young again so many retro games there and a very wide variety of everything else’s great customer service and knowledge on items it’s great love it

I’ve been going to a lot they have good deals good, video games, and I like how they have retro games and new games also if you have any kids they have a area where they have toys and Legos and also make up The really fun place to go to I suggest it to anyone

Highly recommend this place! even when I got a defective disk for the game I bought he was happy to swap it out for something similar with no hassle!

Captivating selection of obscure and retro gaming and Lego gear! I got some bricks I've been looking for and some funky surprises. Good prices. Actual VHS tape playing vintage movies and friendly staff was a literal time warp.

Man, this place is a blast to the past! Got all the classics from every corner of the retro scene, from a huge collection of games (all the way up to ps3) to collectibles to physical media, 70's-00's. Genuine controllers. Memeheads will be happy to find items such as Mac Tonight figurines.
Family run is less than a gimmick here - what it means for the store is that you'll find a spectacularly curated selection of nostalgia with actual heart, as opposed to a "reboot" of new-age imitations that you'd find in corporate chains. Genuine and brilliant.

their selection is growing in size and I could not be happier! My husband had been looking EVERYWHERE for a controller he could use with his PC found one for 10$!!!! Staff is super kind!
BIG HUGE PLUS is that the owner is a humanitarian and has been a care taker for disabled elderly since he graduated highschool. PLEASE come here to see if they have what you need BEFORE gamestop <3 They had a 50$ mint game cube with controllers and all the wires and let me tell yoooou I was tempted

Great selection of Lego sets and figures as well as a ton of retro video games and gaming accessories. Prices are also fantastic. Staff is polite and helpful. So glad to finally have a great game store locally.

Very helpful!!! We were having issues with our Nintendo 64 not working due to a memory pack from another store. They tested it for us, helped with anything and everything possible to get it up and running. Customer service was 11/10! I will be doing business here in the future, I'd check it out 😊
