7-Eleven

This 7-Eleven is great. The soda fountain taste good and fresh so are the bakery items. The store is clean and the workers seem to be friendly. I hope the regional manager takes note of how the store is run as it is a good one.

Been to that gas station quite a lot and I've been welcomed nicely by the staff. My French driver license works just fine for the ID check in case any foreign visitors worries about that. Can get a bit busy but it's nobody's fault.

Frustrated by how I was treated this morning.

When the guest in front of me in line was done, I put my coffee on the counter, nudged my headphones off my ear, said "hello" and started getting my wallet out. She gives me an extremely unwelcoming and frustrated look and says "youre gonna have to give me a second". This confused me as she returned to her register just a moment prior saying "I can help the next person over here" which was for the patron I followed behind.

I don't mind waiting a second, ever, but I can't stand being treated like a problem for being a patron. There are 100 ways too approach that situation as a cashier and be less nasty.

Body language says a lot. In that moment I would have rather walked out the store. ):

I simply went to the next register (she laughed at me because I struggled a little getting my rewards in, but I can only pick my battles).

I'm gonna avoid this store in first shift hours. 2nd shift staff are welcoming.

Has all basics and then some also the staff are nice it would be 5 stars if prices weren't so inflated.

Good service last time I went.

Generally a pretty good place to shop. My beef is that this store seems to just make up it's hours on the fly. Morning and night. Very inconvenient when trying to get fuel in the morning.

Hate they close earlier than usual and early sometimes🙄
