Brothers Family Restaurant

Our meal was great and all the staff were very pleasant. The treats we bought to bring home are amazing. Sorry, I didn't take pictures this time. Only of the goodies we brought home.
Highly recommend if you are out by the restaurant.

We ate senior fried white fish and and the fried pork tenderloin. Plenty of food! Diner atmosphere, with great service by Angel and clean establishment. Our sides were mashed potatoes/gravy, broccoli, mac n cheese and a homemade roll to start us off. Unfortunately, no room for dessert.
The rolls were very tasty, wrapped in cellophane. My only wish is that the rolls were buttery warm. We did come in between lunch and dinner hours.
Loved the service, the waiter, and the ambiance. If you like diners and good diner food, come here. 😊

We stopped at Brothers for lunch during our road trip across the Midwest. Our family of 6 was greeted warmly and quickly seated. The food was phenomenal! Our 6 year old said it was the best Mac and cheese she ever had. The kids portions were large and I’d recommend splitting one dish between 2 kids. I had the catfish and chicken tenders combo platter. The chicken was so juicy and delicious. The honey mustard sauce was house made and fantastic. The catfish was perfectly breaded and seasoned. We shared a lemon meringue pie that was to die for.

The chicken strip meal with fries was delicious! The salad was huge too. The chicken strip meal came with two sides. My dad got the fried chicken and soup and my mom got the patty melt. Everything as delicious and came out fast. You get the bang for you buck to as we had lots of leftovers. The carrot cake was great too! Large selection of desserts! Our server was very kind and attentive. Everything came out quick as well.

This place is a gem! We stopped here on our way back from Chicago thinking it was just your average small town cafe but it is so much more. First off, the service was wonderful. Our waitress was so friendly and patient with us while we tried to figure out what to order from such an extensive and delicious looking menu. I ended up ordering the french toast on their signature cinnamon bread and it was AMAZING. So good that we bought a loaf of it to go. My son ordered tacos and was also very impressed with the presentation and thoughtfulness that went into putting them together. We definitely will be stopping here the next time we drive to Chicago. My only critique is the cashier wasn't very friendly and seemed annoyed that we lingered a after paying for our food to check out the treats they had for sale out front. In fact I may have bought some fudge if she hadn't made me feel so uncomfortable about still being there. She didn't even smile at us or say thank you. She did look young though so maybe she just doesn't have much customer service experience.
I was also impressed by the modern booths. Again, this is the sort of place that usually has outdated 90s seating but their booths looked brand new and made for a cool diner vibe.

We pass by this place while traveling several times per year and finally stopped. Now I’m disappointed we hadn’t stopped sooner! The food was DELICIOUS! I can highly recommend the avocado toast and the breaded pork tenderloin. Had to take a loaf of their bread home and was SO glad I did!

The service was fantastic and so was the food! I had an omelette with the French toast and fresh fruit. The French toast was delicious with the cinnamon bread and the fruit was good too (just ask Rosie the pig!)

The owners are lovely people. The wait staff are friendly and caring, and the cooks make all the food is delish! The fried chicken is awesome, and their coleslaw is fantastic...and the gyros.., SO GOOD. Dont get me started on their desserts, and baked goods! I love this place...always warm, clean, and inviting. It is our new favorite place to eat.

We were seated right away. Friendly and attentive servers. Menu has great variety. I like the Freid chicken, but was in mood for breakfast and it hit the spot. Biscuit was more a pile of crumbs, but Still tasted good since it was topped with gravy. Bought some of their cinnamon bread and made family happy!

This is a must go if you're in the area!! Food and service are amazing. We stopped in several times during our stay and never had a bad meal. Tumi took excellent care of us!! Take home the cinnamon bread!! Yum!

Absolutely love this place! We stop here every year on our way in to Iowa and on our way out! Food is always so good, employees are so kind and place is always clean.

Don’t judge by the curb appeal! This place doesn’t look like much from the outside. We were just passing through on I-80, stopped for gas, and it was right next to the gas station and we were hungry. The menu was impressive, the service was delightful, and the food was outstanding!

A GREAT "restaurant near me" find while on our way from Iowa to Illinois. Waitstaff was terrific, and food was awesome. Highly recommend the country fried steak and the broccoli. Restaurant was clean and inviting. We'll stop here again.

We had amazing service, great food. Everything we ordered over a two day period during our trip was top notch. If we're ever in the area again, this will be the first restaurant we will return to.

Ok hear me out. I went here not expecting much. But this is easily the best chicken fried chicken meal I've had in my entire life. I order chicken fried chicken wherever has it and sub the brown gravy for the country gravy. Super hot and tons of food. Our waitress was excellent as well.

Have been coming here since I was a kid. great fast service, Angel is an awesome server had the kids and us laughing. Food looked beautiful and didnt kill the bank. Also awesome hot sauce.

Wonderful food, friendly staff, and very clean environment. Be ready for the wide selection of desserts they have on hand....the cinnamon swirl bread they make and sell is amazing.

Super good and super fast. Soooo much food! If you walk away hungry you did something wrong. I ordered country fried steak. Two huge plates of food plus toast. Hubby and I could have easily split the meal and both been full. Reasonable prices and meals came about 10 minutes after ordering.

This is one of those places that has just always been around. It has been our go to place on many a bike ride. The food is great and they will accommodate your needs.

I am a pie and soup man and they keep me smiling with what they have. The kids (& adults) will love their bazillion and one flavors of softserve ice cream.

The staff and owners are personable, helpful and generally cheerful... and should you get Cindy she will make your day. She is a treasure.

So, get off your duffs and go give Brothers a try.

This is our family’s favorite place for breakfast. I personally love the avocado toast but everything is very good. We have also ordered a variety of sandwiches for carry out which have all been delicious as well. Service is outstanding.
