River House Bar & Grill

Great place for a hearty lunch! Went to grab a bite and had the meatloaf. My date had the bbq chicken salad. What a meal! Exactly the kind of comfort food I was hoping for. Generous portions for the price, too. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I had to wait a little bit to be seated since there was an event at the Mark but despite the traffic and the place being absolutely packed, the waitresses did an excellent job in keeping everything moving. My burger and garlic fries were incredibly delicious. Prices were fair, portions were plentiful, and service was great. I'll be recommending the River House to friends and family and can't wait to try other items.

What a pleasant surprise. First visit and I'm very impressed. Great food for the price. We had the fried pickle spears and they were super tasty. The meatloaf was delicious and a very nice presentation for a bar. The fish and chips was also very tasty and the cole slaw was one of the better ones I've had in the QC. Our server Anthony was excellent and attentive. We're coming back for sure. I've been back many times and this place continues to impress me. This visit there was a pork shank street taco appetizer. I've attached a picture. It's absolutely delicious.

Jerry's Fish and chips are light, a large serving and fried perfectly. The place is very loud though we had to yell across the table. All in all I definitely recommend it.
We went for an early dinner. It was quieter. Our waitress knew the menu and helped by making suggestions. Once again - they never disappoint!! We had a nice relaxing meal after a stressful day.

H, my goodness! When my husband uses the word phenomenal you know it is outstanding. We both had more food than we could eat, so we will have an awesome supper. He had the combo platter. I had country fried steak with mashed potatoes underneath and corn on the cob. Wish we lived closer.

Great burger! Jules was behind the bar during lunch and was a joy. First time in the area and she filled me in on what to do in town. Cozy atmosphere, felt like everyone that walked in knew each other. Only thing I’d change is the bun on my burger was a touch small for the amount of items on the burger. Still give it a 5 as the flavor was a home run.

So I was concerned with the prices at first but man the amount you get for the prices is great. First ..... if you want to make it to your main meal....don't get an appetizer as it was great and stuffed us! That is a meal itself!!! The meat loaf was huge. The Forget About Burger was huge....you really can not forget about it! I had the Godfather sandwich which hey hard to resist sausage, meatballs, ham and pepperoni all together! Only one item I wish I could change is I ordered the parmesan fries which had great flavor but they were not crisp, I would have preferred them crispy somehow. And for those that have kids that love mac & cheese my daughter rated the mac & cheese as one of the creamiest in the QC! (It's like Velveeta Shells). Atmosphere was great! Waitress wore mask. Our waitress did keep coming back for refills. Only one item was forgotten on the order .... but lets be honest who is going to miss a salad when you have all this other food lol! Everyone wore masks until they sat down. We went on a Friday night and did not even have any wait time! Oh there is one more item - the menu had tons of items showing for food...but no drinks showing. We had to ask the waitress and that seems to take up time to have her go over.

This was so so exceptionally good The drinks were fantastic Andieis the best bartender I have met in many many years. She will tell you from top to bottom how it goes. The manager was very friendly and kind. The food was beyond excellent we were told we would have to wait an hour it wasn't even 40 minutes. We will definitely be coming back Hope Andie is working.

Ordered the brisket sandwich (can't remember exactly what it's called), French onion soup, and coconut shrimp with raspberry jalapeño sauce. Everything was soooo good. Brisket was moist and juicy, Soup was seasoned just right, and the coconut shrimp with that sauce was the best!

The food was FANTASTIC! And Jules my server was very friendly and attentive to whatever I needed! If you get the chance to go I would definitely take it and hope you sit in her section! I got the Katy's Turkey Pesto sandwich with fries and it was to die for!

Flew to Moline for work and was looking for a place for lunch. Found it with the help Google. Got tons of reviews. I decided to try.
I got the fish and chips, I was not disappointed! I pushed my luck with an Apple crisp, delish!!!

The bartender was very friendly and the food excellent! Got music playing on, and has TV with sports.

I better come back, it was so good.

Very good food! Everything that was coming out looked good. Will have to go back to try more. Service was fast and friendly. Food came out quickly. Nice cozy environment. They had several fans on the ceiling all running from one motor and several belts.

This place gives you what you pay for! The waiter and bartender are the greatest! If you haven't eaten here before you are missing out!!!!

The food is amazing. I especially recommend the Fred Mertz Burger with sweet potato fries.
The chicken and waffles were good too.
The restaurant was clean and the service was great.
Definitely will be coming back

Delightful sandwiches. Was given samples of several excellent sauces while perusing the menu. Quiet, slightly dark ambience around 3 o'clock. Enjoyable.

Great food, competitive prices, it gets alittle crowded at dinner, but it a nice place to eat. Many options on the menu. Definitely recommend it.

Good restaurant near downtown Moline. Staff is always friendly and service is good. Usually visit for lunch and normally don't have to wait long to be seated. The dining area is clean and their booths are large. The food is good quality and the prices are reasonable.

I have not been here recently, but stopped before heading over to The Mark for a game. The place was not overly busy when we arrived, but filled up quickly. The service was good as was the food. Our food came very quickly which was a nice surprise. I had the reuben and chips. Very good choice. Will return another day.

Just had the most amazing Reuben Sandwich. In house roasted corned beef. Another plus was the amazing bartender Julie. Highly recommend the River House

Good food! Decent service. Although my sweet potato fries were very thick and non-crunchy past the thin top layer, but it's healthier that way and didn't taste bad. So, it's ok. Lol.
