I am so impressed with Food Lion. I've only shopped there a few times and was impressed how nice the store is and how great the produce was. It's a well organized store and had a lot of brands I was looking for. And prices were so much more reasonable than other grocery stores so that's a msjor reason to shop here. Easy checkout too. Will be shopping here more.

I had a wonderful experience on July 4th at my neighborhood store in West Ashley. Melissa, manager of the Bakery department, helped me out with my holiday dessert! I needed a small sample of hard-to-find sprinkles for a dessert and she was nice enough to provide it to me from the Bakery supply! She "saved the day"! Thank you for your kindness and great service!

This is a nice, convenient grocery store that basically has what you would expect to have in a fully stocked grocery store. I shop here often because it is very close to where I live.

I love this Food Lion! This is the perfect store - just like the 80s and 90s where there’s not a lot of fluff and they keep prices low and food fresh. The manager and associates are wonderful! Five star service always.

The pick-up service here is TOP-TIER. I’ve tried a bunch of West Ashley grocery ordering pick-up experiences, and I was so pleasantly surprised and happy to share that the results are in: this Food Lion’s is the absolute best at it!

Food Lion prices are hard to beat, which we love. When it comes to stocking our fridge and pantry weekly, Food Lion is there for all the usuals. What really sets them apart with the pick-up is: it’s so easy. There’s always good time slots, low or no fee, no extra app, and you are always sent links via text to keep you up to date with substitutions and when to pick it up. It’s so fast, super cheap, and the communication is excellent.

When I pull up to the designated parking spaces (there’s always pickup ones open!) and tap the link that I’ve arrived, they come out within five minutes and are so friendly and helpful. Often the person bringing out the groceries is the one that shopped for you so you can thank them in person! Courtney stands out to me as someone that I’m always happy to see, but all the staff are great whether you use the pickup or go in. Their hard work helps our families so much, I really can’t thank them enough. Lots of the staff have been there an extended time so it’s nice to see the same familiar faces in the neighborhood. They make a positive difference in my day and I’m grateful for it, I hope they feel appreciated.

I really just love this place!!! Even if Food Lion is the “smaller” grocery in our area, it’s my favorite to shop at hands down.

I’m a fan of this store to begin with.
The cashier today, though, made my day/week/etc. Unfortunately I’m terrible with names..Melissa or Melanie.. cashier # 144 it says. I had a fairly large order and was short $3.00. She paid it out of her own pocket, and was not put out at all. I love this store more than I already did. I hope the management gives her some recognition if the see this. Actions like these are rare in today’s world.

Food Lion doesn't seem to be as upscale as Harris Teeter, or even Publix, but they definitely have better prices. Everything (at least the stuff I buy regularly) seems to be cheaper here. Granted it may not have all the bells and whistles of the big 2, but I don't care. I go where I can save the most money.

The store is clean and has remained well stocked throughout the pandemic. Employees and management are friendly and helpful. Curbside service is always prompt and accurate thanks to nice people like Maddy who always goes above and beyond! Thanks for all you do 😊
