Once Upon A Child

I shop here multiple times a year and wouldn't dare going back to buying from big box stores. Here the clothes are name brand (not that this really matters, but to some it does), cheaper, and more sustainable. Plus the points system comes in clutch when school shopping. Will continue to be a loyal customer.

Really pleased with this location of Once Upon a Child! I found the prices to much lower than other children’s consignment stores around the city and the selection was great! I was able to find shoes, boots, and clothes for my kids at reasonable prices and thought all of the employees I interacted with were friendly. I look forward to shopping here in the future!

Nice resell store for babies and small kids. Toys, clothes and more! They buy your unwanted baby/kids items.

Very pleased with the buying process. I like how they keep your items separated that they want to buy so you know exactly what they are buying. I have been to other children’s resale stores where they buy and you go up to get your money and have no clue what they bought. I feel as though I got a fair price for the items the purchased. I purchased a few items too and it seemed as it was a fair price for those items as well. Super organized store so you know exactly where to go for what size you are looking for. I will say the girl who greeted me was less than friendly, but I was so pleased with the rest of the process, that won’t detour me from returning.

Great prices & perfectly organized selections! I found 17 gorgeous dresses, 4 skirts & 4 pair of shorts in less than 30 minutes for my 4 year old granddaughter in sizes 5, 6, 6x & 7! YAY! Very inexpensive in comparison to prices at other resale shops nearby. I wish I would have shopped here first!

I went in with just a couple things to sell. They accepted all of it and offered me a lot more than I had expected. They were very respectful when explaining to other customers what items they could not or would not take. While I browsed the store, I noticed there was a small corral for kids to play in - genius! Large selection of clothes and all in the current styles, many popular brands. Also loads of toys, strollers, bassinets, etc. Prices were great. Nothing looked dirty or dilapidated. When I was ready to check out, the woman assisting me was nice and cheerful even though, by the looks of all the trade-ins at the counter, they looked very busy.
Awesome little store. I'll definitely be returning!

There’s so much variety to pick from & sizes up to 14! I’ve been shopping at this store for over 7 years, I’ve never been disappointed!

I am OBSESSED with Once Upon A Child! Most of our toddler's clothes are from there. We 'adopted' a child for our towns Children's Christmas and I got them 1 pair of khakis, 2 pairs of jeans, and 12 long sleeved shirts for under $55! All in great condition, some even still had the tags on them. My favorite clothing store by far, they always have the best bargains and sales on their already affordable prices!

Good selection of second hand baby and children's clothes and baby equipment and toys. A giant shoe section and a large amount of all fory of toys. Everything is very nicely organized by type, and size, clean and good quality. Their prices seem more reasonable than the competition. They are rather selective in their purchases and don't seem to really have a rhyme or reason in their selections. They advertise that they purchase everyday.

Went in on a busy Saturday afternoon, I was greeted very kindly. I had 4 large bags and 2 larger toys to sell. The lady who helped me told me right from the beginning that it would take about 45mins. Absolutely no problem, since I saw they were going through many many many large tubs from other customers.
On a previous experience I went to the Once upon a child in KS and they should really be taking customer service training from the Lee's Summit store.

Very friendly and helpful. Went to cash in on some my sons clothes and toys that had no use for anymore walked out with what seemed to be everything I took there but made 60$ cash and couldn't even tell they took anything. Store was well organized and everyone working seemed to be doing what was expected out of them. 5 star employees!!

This store has a HUGE selection. Very nice. Customer service a little lacking. But definitely will return!

This store literally saved my life when I found it. Kids clothes can get expensive but this store is a life saver. I get 60% of my daughters clothes from here and it's great because I can bring her gently used clothes that she has grown out and get credit to buy more things. What makes the store even better is how organized it is. It's not only organized by size it's also color coded. Genius! I absolutely love the LS store. The Overland Park store not so much.

Today was my first time shopping here and I absolutely love this store! I was able to get 6+ outfits for 3 kids and paid less then $150! I will definitely be back. This is my new go to place for children’s clothing.

I've been shopping here for about 10 years I think. I've always had a great experience whether I'm selling or buying. The store is always neat & orderly with great quality selections to choose from & they pay a great price for your items as well. Best consignment shop in my opinion.

Always polite staff, lots of shoes, clothes and toy items for my kids. Good quality items at a fair price. The store is always clean everytime I'm in there.

I love Once Upon A Child in general and this location is no exception. There’s usually a good selection and fair prices. Employees are courteous and helpful whenever I’m in.
