It's a really great little bookstore packed with all sorts of books. Very friendly owner eager to help you find what you need.

Never expected to find such an eclectic and well stocked used book store in such a remote town as Hermiston. Everything from rare antiques to modern authors. If you like old bookstores, this one has just the right feel to it. Well worth a drive.

There is something special about Neighborhood Books & Gifts in Hermiston, OR. It's more than just a bookstore, it's a place to make literary discoveries that you would not otherwise have been able to make on places like Amazon. Their prices are very often cheaper than Amazon, and you will not get caught up in the "if you like this, try that" algorithm. This is the strength of this place: stacks of books, labyrinthine aisles and a sense of wonder... that's what bookstores are supposed to be.

I love going into this place. There's always something interesting to find. The owner is friendly, the books are affordable, and there are a wide variety of topics. It's a used book store, so unless someone donates a brand new book, you won't find anything that was released this month, but you will find something for everyone here. I highly recommend this place!

The book store had every book my wife was looking for. Michael the man that works there is very kind, my wife and I talked with him for quite awhile.

great place to brouse, every book imaginable and great staff that always have time for me. I like to plan on spending atleast an hour or two. So many books and prices are great.

Be prepared to search but there's a lot of good stuff here. Fair prices. Owner know where things are pretty well. Rewards program. Will visit again.
