Smitty's Ace Hardware

Simply the Best service I have ever received from any Ace hardware on the West Coast! Believe me, I've been to Arizona California Washington parts of Oregon... You name it I've been there the best people live in small towns!

They are all so very helpful. I go to Ace Hardware a lot all over the country. I think I’ve been there twice when they didn’t have what I was looking for which is remarkable they have more things than the big bucks store and they help you they don’t point in a direction say over there.

I always enjoy shopping at Ace. This particular store, Smittys in Hermiston, blew my mind with their amazing service. From the moment I entered I was greeted with a smile and several employees offered personal service. Hats off to Russ, Kristy, Tom, and all the others. They are fully staffed and knowledgeable. I live :45 minutes away and will not hesitate to make the drive as my future needs arise. Smitty's sets the bar high for service and selection. A++ rating.

It’s always so enjoyable to go to Smitty’s and see all the happy faces of the employees. I have never asked a question without getting the correct answer. A true hometown store you can’t find in big cities.

Awesome customer service!! I stopped in needing a bolt for my travel trailer hitch. Not only did they have the hardware I needed a fine young man came out with the wrenches and installed it for me. It was late and we needed some place to park our trailer for the night and before I even finished asking the manager said no problem. Avoid the big box stores and go here.

They are always helpful, friendly and the older gentleman that helped me the last couple of times was great at listening to what my project was and able to offer a few suggestions to help improve my idea.

This place is awesome. As a guy that loves to build stuff, shoot stuff, grill stuff. They got it all. Lots of the small partd that you need for your projects. Their grill section was impressive. But my favorite part is they have a full service gun shop in their parking lot.. people were friendly and helpful. Even offering ideas where to find locally an item they did not stock. good supply of powder and ammo as well. I will be back.

The staff was so friendly I showed up there with like 8 minutes until it closed.. I just looked at the cashier and she looked at me and smiled and she said, "I have faith in you". Of course I need a 40 of these special nuts and bolts and I couldn't find what I was looking for. Then there was a lovely lady in back that helped me find the nuts in the bolts that I needed and I made it out about 7:02 and they were still smiling and happy and friendly. Kudos to Ace hardware.

I always get great service at Smitty's Ace Hardware. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a good selection and the store is well stocked.

Almost got into a little trouble today. Was shopping for chain master links. Found them and went to find soldering items. While trying to decide what would work the best for my project and reading the labels I dropped the masters somewhere. Forgetting why I went there in the first place, I made my way to the check out. Then I remembered. I told the young lady that I had them earlier and thought I Stuck them in my pocket I got SUCH a look.
Lucky me, the other girl up front had seen them on the floor and put them away. She went and got them for me and I made my purchase and left. But I cannot forget that Split Second I was thinking I'd stuck something in my pocket and was going to get in trouble. Thanks ladies I didn't want to be in trouble.

I love how there's always tons of employees of the floor ready and offering to help. Store laid out nice and easy to find things.

Very large selection of good quality hardware, friendly staff, free popcorn and coffee. I also really enjoy their outpost where they sell camping/fishing/hunting equipment. Staff is knowledgeable and quick to lend a hand.

If you don't want to go to the big box stores and have to buy 2 lb of something oh, but just a few pieces of a certain screw washer Etc then Ace is the place to go. They also have a good line of clothing for work. They also have great chainsaws and yard equipment.
