Save A Lot

Fantastic selection of food and condiments at a good price. Today I noticed some not so familiar items that you generally see in other big name stores. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Check out Save A Lot and you might be surprised. Highly recommend.

I love this store even though they only have two cashier's working every time I visit 😆

The Staff is extremely helpful. Oftentimes, whenever a Question arises; all Personnel working on the Day I am shopping, literally go out of their way, in order to see that Customer's needs are met.

The Manager actually speaks to every Customer who enters the Establishment.

I'd never even heard of this store. Definitely some of the lowest prices I've ever seen!

The owner and store manager is very helpful and a really nice guy. Staff is very pleasant and helpful as well.

This is a great local grocery store in a nice residential area. Within walking distance of multiple homes. I don't live in the area, but I'm sure it's a great help to the people who do. I love visiting Save-A-Lot because it really is an inexpensive option. The staff is always very nice. They have replaced items that were damaged or expired even after point of sale. I really appreciate having a local store in the area and they do a great job of serving Cedar Rapids. I almost wish I lived closer. The store is always clean and for the most part well stocked. Staff is friendly and willing to answer questions.

My most favorite favorite store to to shop at for any food item super cheap cheaper than all these or some sort of cheaper grocery store chain employees are all of their kind courteous and graciously greet you with smiles and happy welcome greetings privately-owned not a chain of any sort only store of its kind the storeowner/manager/boss/lead employer/employee very kind hopeful gracious man he's helping me with my teenage son on many occasions with his behavioral health problems help me so I can get my shopping done help distract him hoverboard him when I first went good so he's been a good place where I could start touching the trust learning experiences with my adolescent/preteen/teenage son the food quality is super super great and the prices even better if they don't have something I have seen at like Hyvee or Walmart for food products similarities I have mentioned it to Jim and a few weeks later without me requesting it or anything he'll have this item or product or one similar to it in the store he will never turn you away all the employees are paid out of money the store makes he busy from small hometown farmers and business owners whom all have similar interests at hand to help give customers quality foods , products, groceries at price that is well below fair market value cheaper than and Aldi's store by far

I tell you Save-A-Lot is a spot when it's time to rock they got the first prices on the meat in the potatoes in the veggies in the drinks in the block you can always count on me cuz I'll be there Save A Lot cuz you keep my family strong healthy and fed let's keep them snoring so snuggly and tight in their beds because they are Save-A-Lot fed you get my standing ovation

Sav a lot is a great place to get groceries! There are many selections and a good meat department. The staff is friendly and helpful. Many have worked there years and years. The manager is outstanding and treats his employees very well and the customers too!

John does a good job running this store. He always changes up the variety of things he has stocked.

The employees there are terrific they help you out no matter what is going on and it's just an all-around great place to shop

They have a good selection of products. Meat, dairy, snacks, produce. Lots of diverse products too. The employees are always very nice and go out of their way to say hello. My favorite thing about this place is they do not enforce lawless regulations. If you choose to mask, great. If you choose not to, also great. They have my business for life. Also why I will always shop here, after the flood in 08, they allowed people to come in and get what they need, as they were going to lose it anyway. Class acts at save a lot.

I love the prices and variety of food, that one may not find in other grocery stores. Self bagging, like Aldi's. Friendly staff.

While they may not have everything, they are one of the best grocery stores in Cedar Rapids. Prices are extremely competitive.And, you really save money,there! If there is something they don't have in stock, ask Jim, the manager, and he'll bend over backwards to try and get it for you. GREAT PLACE FOR SOUTHERN STYLE FOODS! Produce is good,as well. Give me a try!

Great value, good produce and friendly pleasant customer service. I shop there often for two households and I have been most impressed with the managers and staff on how they have handled this whole covid-19 thing. They stepped up their game on cleanliness and keeping their customers safe..Great job to you all..I am and will continue to be A loyal customer. Thank You.
