El Super Burrito & Lupita's

I've been to El Super Burrito & Lupita's dozens of times throughout the years and it never fails to hit the spot. I stopped in Tuesday to try their Torta Cubana special and it is definitely a top sandwich in CR. The bread was incredibly fresh, and the sandwich was stuffed with ham, egg, guac, jalapenos, and more! And you can't come here and not get a stuffed churro which are the best I have EVER had. So fortunate to have this in our town!

My husband and I had lunch at El Super Burrito & Lupita's today and we both had the Ahogado burrito with steak and shrimp, the Mexican Street Corn and chips and salsa. To say I was blown away was an understatement. Mexican isn't usually my go to because it all tastes the same around here but this place will change your mind on quality, Authentic Mexican food in CR. I recommend eating inside verses to go. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! Highly recommended if you've never been.

Went here after the gym tonight looking for some healthy food. I got two fish tacos and they were super! And I’m pretty picky. Nice friendly staff and they made my order pretty quick. I’ll definitely be back!

I love this little restaurant! The food is delicious and a healthy option for eating out. My favorite is the burrito ahogado. I get it just about every time

Very good! I am from South Texas. Authentic Mexican food is embedded in the culture down there. It is literally on every corner. Super Burrito's food and restraunt is the closest I have found to that. The food is on point, the tortialls are great. I can't tell you how many do not prepare their tortillas correctly. No body wants a cold tortilla, and if you do, you have been taught wrong!! They have menudo and tres leches cake!!! Not expensive. Must go if you want the real deal.

Definitely a hidden gem. Near the corner of Johnson Ave and Edgewood Rd (behind Flowerama), Great location, yet easily missed .

Mariachi and Egg torta were awesome! The cakes are delicious as well.

Delightful find! I live south of the border, so I am skeptical about Mexican food in the Midwest. El Super Burrito did not disappoint, though. Their chicken tacos—with fresh corn tacos—were super tasty. And their homemade salsa and guacamole was amazing! I’ll be back.

If you want authentic Mexican food, the way it would be in Latin America, this is it.
The place is very inexpensive.
I had a Mexican torta (it's a sandwich with avocado, veggies and meet with a picked jalapeño)
My wife had a beef soup that was really good

Get the spicy pork tacos! They slap harder than Mike Tyson! Staff is also super nice, cashier was friendly. The order came out super quick, probably 10 minutes for 10 pork tacos, 2 choriqueso and some salsa + chips. Taste was great, food was hot and fresh, they even gave me green and red salsa! Fantastic experience

We love this place!! Alway good food and great service. I usually get chicken fajitas and the portions are so large I can usually enjoy it the following day! If you are looking for an authentic and delicious Mexican spot this place is it!

i love eating here the food is delicious. i love the tres leches cake and tamales. Their tacos are also soo good. This is by far my favorite place to eat mexican food in Iowa.

Stopped for lunch with my fiance and toddler. We got our food within 5 minutes. We all got different items and they were all really good. I always get the 3taco platter and it never fails to be a hit.
Always grab something from the bakery too! The churros and tres leche are my favorite.

Amazing authentic The tacos are to die for. 10 out of 5 stars. Hands down one of the best places to eat in Cedar Rapids and very budget friendly!

I have eaten at El super Burrito since I first moved to Cedar Rapids. I have always been satisfied and had great service! Very good authentic mexican food! Fast service!

Veggie burrito (abogahdo) was chart topping. Definitely top 3 I've ever had. Great service, easy going atmosphere. Sweets section was hittin too.
