I drive all the way from Iowa to get my lamb meat it the best taste meat in the Medwest and they have the pita bread and almost everything middle eastern . Also daily fresh cooked meals but need to call and reserve due to high demand . And must try the pastries you won’t regret it .

This place is a hidden gem for newcomers, but the people who have lived here its a staple in the neighborhood.
Small place, tight parking, BUT, All worth it. Store offers fresh main dishes, hummus ( homemade) faleffel ( 10 star ), and various other signature treats.
Good selection for Groceries if needed.
The Main attraction is, I believe his name is Zyhid ( I hope I spelled it right ), think he is the owner, if not the manager, nevertheless treats you like a human being and has respect for everyone, bravo to you sir.

This place is simply amazing! Seriously the service is excellent! You are always treated like family when you walk in. I should warn you, don’t come here hungry because you will get every flavor of their baked pies, (Manakish) falafel, and falafel sandwiches and eat it on your way home in the car- they are amazing at what they do best. I won’t get my lamb or beef anywhere els but here. Middle Eastern-based supermarket with variety of products and fresh pita bread daily. You will not be sorry you came here.

Great Little Gem and Middle Eastern Market! Very homestyle and the the workers are always very nice! Love all of the options of sweets and candies and nuts/seed mixes per pound! Great Meat, Fresh Bread, THE best olive oil you can get imported from the middle east! Highly recommended!

This place is very good for your middle Eastern needs plus the halal meat section with butcher on duty and the lamb meat and ground beef mix with lamb meat and the poultry stuff as well . All very good. The guys there are very cool. I highly recommend this ace for everyone for every thing you need for food and other stuff for home. Best lamb ever and helpful staff. One of the men working there gave me advice I will never forget...”never buy pre-ground lamb”...they have pristine pieces and will grind it to order for you in minutes. This place had all the groceries and supplies for Mediterranean/ Middle East cooking. I feel lucky we have jewels like this in Chicago.

City Food & Grocery has the BEST baked savory pies!! They get sold quickly in the morning but you can call in advance for reservation. Their falafel sandwiches are so divine and the hummus is made fresh you can taste the quality. I absolutely love it here. Everyone is so friendly and it feels like family. Definitely recommend shopping here for fresh produce and yummy hot cooked meals.

I live in the city and I like to get my groceries from City Food & Grocery. They have a wide selection of produce and their staff are always helpful when I have questions. The produce is always fresh too, which is great for my family.

Place gets fresh pita every day. They have a kitchen that makes great food. And their supermarket is stocked to the brim with everything every day! Super friendly people, good prices, and great selection. I'm slowly getting everyone on this bandwagon

They welcome every one by "BROTHER". The whole world is made by brothers and sisters, joy and harmony. They steal my heart every time one go there. I live in Schaumburg but goes there for fresh lamb meat every time. The best meat ever in Chicago land, period.

I love City Grocery. They are friendly and bery helpful. I love their meat and spinachnpies. They have fresh bread too, and prices are bery reasonable. I go their often and have never been disappointed.

Authentic Palestinian food and groceries. They used to make their own pastries before the sister passed away (RIP). The food they still make goes fast so go early or call ahead.
