chill spot with a good selection!

I'm traveling for work and staying at the AC Marriott a couple blocks down the street, which is only a month old and doesn't yet have their liquor license. Le Chateau had what I wanted (a six-pack of Angry Orchard hard cider), and although I just made a beeline to the beer and cider and then to the checkout, it looked like they had a surprisingly large selection of wines for a place so small, and some really interesting liquors along with the classics. Also had some "convenience-store" type soft drinks and packaged food. Glad the folks at AC Marriott directed me here!

They have an ATM, carry Haagen-Dazs and have many other amenities that you would not expect in tiny store. Friendly and always helpful.

I went to purchase a topo Chico. And the employee was speaking in such a way that other customers were complaining about their profanity , and I asked if he could open the bottle for me. The bottle of WATER. He said “what did you say?” In which I responded , “I was just asking if you could open the water”….he responded with “I thought so , but no. I won’t. I don’t like the way you asked me”. What a vile experience for a mere water , which unfortunately, I had already paid for.

They dont have cheap 8% beer but they charge almost $5 for 9% ipa. The service is good but assortment is not that good
