Curiosity Shop

This is my favorite spot In Berkeley, well, excepting the University of California @ Berkeley.

The Campus is beautiful but the Curiosity Shop has 10,000 things I didn’t know I needed, but now, cannot live without.

Remember the 1943 steel Penny? I keep looking for the rare copper type. Worth some real $$$$$$$$$$ folks!

The US government stopped production of the copper penny that year for the war effort. Needed the copper for production of ships to take war materials to England.

A few slid through the pipeline, and are still out there… keep your eyes open!

Fascinating place with all the charms, jewelries,old vintage goodies, stamps, and interesting things you wouldn’t see nowadays. You can spend hours here!

This place is a gem! It is so much fun. It is so amazing! The price is unbelievably incredible! The owner is very artistic and talented. He remembered all the price. We bought so much stuff here. Strongly recommend! You will find something that you don't need here. My husband got a bunch of candy and they are so unique and yummy.

When you come across this store you are greeted outside with bins of old postcards, vintage jewelry, sunglasses, surprise items that tickle your curiosity to step in to check it out. A great place to see doll house furniture, novelty rings, pins, necklaces, pictures and candies plus more. Step in and relive old memories and discover many interesting things.

So many things to see! Mostly antiques but I love it. The music was loud but it was pretty cool, (they have pretty good music taste). It was a unique experience & I bought a cute star necklace & an amethyst! The cashier was sweet & friendly. definitely coming back when I'm feeling curious to look at things!

I went to this store with my sister and we absolutely loved it. There's so much jewerly, fun stickers, toys, pins and a lot more to look at!

Cute place to find costine jewelry and other small treasures. Love their salt water taffy. A little small inside do you have to aqueeze by others.

My husband and I drove by, due to curiosity we parked and shopped inside. The store is filled with all kinds of jewelry including necklaces, bracelets, brooches, and earrings. Sunglasses, rocks, black & white photos, candies etc.... price is affordable and everybody come out with their treasure 😄

Super cool shop filled to the brim with unique and beautiful jewelry, random collectibles and stuff you can’t find anywhere else. Very fun to look through and easy to lose track of time. Friendly owner, very reasonable prices with lots of nice deals. Highly recommend!

Super cool shop! Loved the little dollar “shop” outside. I walk pass every day but was tempted to go inside from the goodies propped up outside. Will be coming back! So many cool gadget, thing-a-ma-bobs and rings!

The store looks amazing and seems like a 'treasure island' to me. I am curious to know the price for the wooden ink stamps for embroidery.

This place is definitely worth checking out. A lot of unique rings, necklaces, pins. Owner seemed nice to me.
