James helped me tremendously with my purchase of a new bike. He made suggestions on racks for my sedan, built my bike, and helped me get it set up on the rack.

He's very nice, and very helpful. Not to mention he suggested and installed a couple of accessories for me. Things I would not have thought about as a new rider.

If you're looking to get a bike, James is your guy.

I only come here after my team wins a championship. The day after the patriots won the super bowl I was about 45 minutes away from the store so I called and asked if they could hold one of the hats for me because I knew if I didn't call I probably wouldn't get one. The guy on the phone said normally they can't hold them for me but he did and thankfully he did because when I got there they were gone.

Everyone were very accommodating. Loved the experience. Great Customer Service. Curtis was a Great help. Bought a canoe and the manager and a couple of employees loaded it for us.
Greeted as we walked in and everyone were so willing to help us get what we came for.

Stopped in just before closing back in early October because I just had to wait until the last possible moment to get myself some hiking boots, and literally halfway into the drive up to the north from Rhode Island. Would never have made it to the summit of Katahdin if I hadn't gotten a pair. One of the girls working there was super helpful and went to the back of the store to get both 10s and 10-1/2s for me to try since I wasn't quite sure which was better. Definitely the kind of customer service that will get people to come back to the chain.

Worked with Katie on 11/30 at 9:30am. She went out of her way to show great customer service, and helped us find our purchase, ensure it was the best price available (we were unsure of any cyber Monday deals), and ring us out. I was extremely impressed with her service level in assisting my wife and I. Thank you very much Katie!

Staff very willing to help. I brought my daughters in to get field hockey equipment and cleats. The woman in the shoe department was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable! she went the extra mile to make sure that my daughter had proper foot gear. we found a great deal on a field hockey set ( it had a stick, goggles, shin pads and a bag) . I am very happy we came and we will definitely go back!

Golf salesman Curtis was super helpful. Gave me some great pointers and didn't try and sell me something that I don't need at this time. I'll be back to purchase more advanced clubs when I'm ready.
Brought my clubs in to get new grips in December 2019; Curtis was awesome again, even cleaned them up for me.

On September 30, 2016, I went into Dick's Sporting Goods in Topsham, Maine to return a few items I bought a few days earlier. The return was easy and the clerk (didn't get her name) was very helpful. However, what I really what to write about is how the staff at Dick's in Topsham went above and beyond in terms of customer service. I had a security tag on a jacket I purchased at the Maine Mall in South Portland and I really did not want to drive all the way to the mall to have it removed (I live in the Augusta area). I showed the clerk at Dick's in Topsham my receipt (proof that I had, in fact, purchased the jacket) and asked if she could help me. Long story short, up to four employees were persistent in trying to get the security tag off for me. They didn't have to do that. It took almost 30 minutes! Jessica and Sandra from Dick's in Topsham were particularly helpful. They were cheerful and had a great sense of humor about it. And they were successful! Thanks again, for your excellent customer service!

Great store! Everything was clean, organized and very few items were out of stock. The prices on most items I looked at, were matching the online prices of exact same items.

I purchased youth baseball cleats. They had several styles and colors to choose from. Store was clean and well organized. Staff was friendly. A good place to go if you need sporting goods.

Great selection and a friendly staff. Unfortunate name that my wife just can't bring herself to say. She calls it Richard's. Usually has what I am looking for.

I bought a heavy tree stand here the fella who helped me bring it out to my truck was an outstanding employee I did not get his name but we talked about sports and kayak fishing etc... Really great guy

We needed a bike for my 7 year old daughter. Not only were they the only store around with any bikes for her, they made sure the bike was at the right size and they installed a bell for her.

Wife got 2 pair of sneakers for 50.00 Good Service. You can practice your putting there. Good store

The cashier was absolutely Pleasant went out of her way and gentleman to carry my kayak. Went above and beyond also.

Got some pretty dope soccer balls and basketballs here. The pricing is pretty nice. It's a fun place to be for a sports lover.

We received excellent service with our purchase of two kayaks.

Got an excellent deal on an Old Town canoe here, staff even helped load it onto my truck.
