Safeway

Just made a quick trip in & out to grab goodies for Super Bowl. Had to have a tub of those delish wings in a variety of flavors & some of the little ribs as well. Found everything I wanted & no waiting in line.

Basic Safeway, has all regular departments with small assortment in most. Cashiers do a great job getting people checked out quickly.

Great place. There is NEVER a line stretching from the pharmacy to the door, as mentioned in a review posted at the end of 2022. That reviewer stated that the "line that goes out the door most of the time" In 20 years I have never seen this. The comment was pure fantasy.

This Safeway makes the best Baguettes! Crispy crust and light, fluffy bread. I have lived in San Diego, New York and San Antonio and can truly say this is the best baguette I have ever had!❤

Had no problems finding anything and everyone I ask for assistance was helpful and polite.

We're from out of town but frequent the area for business. Sadly, in the days we live in, it's incredibly rare to find positively outstanding customer service. Thankfully we can not say that was the case about our experience for this Safeway today.
I'm out of town and an urgent need to send flowers arose after 4pm. Dealing with a small town, it's already difficult to find a floral shop (if there's one in the local hospital it wasn't even open) but Safeway saved the day for our needs. Brian and Illi saved the day and not only assisted us with a purchase over the phone, but hand delivered them to the hospital. I'm 1000% certain this is not in either of their job descriptions, but it was more appreciated than they could ever know. (It should be known the store itself did not except credit card payment) Thank you!

Very clean store and organized.

We went to this store on a whim, never shopped in one before. Wa quite surprised at their selections and was able to buy a few things Walmart didnt have. I would stop here before venturing to another store. We also got a 10% senior discount we weren't expecting

I've been doing business with this store for more than eight years and have ALWAYS walked out of the doors a very HAPPY customer.
Their meat and produce is always clean, presentable & FRESH. The store is always very well stocked, clean and provides for a safe and comfortable shopping experience.
The staff and employees are always kind, helpful and polite. Being around the store is always a GREAT experience.

I was there in June 2018 to pick up some food for a family reunion. The store was clean, well stocked, a lot to choose from. We were shopping and filled up our cart and check out was really fast. The store was clean and we'll stock. Being from out of state, we didn't know what to expect, the people were very friendly and helpful. If I'm ever in Benson, AZ again I will shop here.

Brittany and Lynn in Customer care were some of the friendliest people in all of Benson. They're knowledge of the ins and outs of the city, as well as the surrounding area was extremely helpful. Their sense of humor entwined with the professionalism they carry is something that Safeway should be scared of losing. I would give more stars if possible. Would chat with them again.

Cashier was very professional and she has an excellent customer service, she offered additional promotions and that helped me get more savings! I'm very glad I got her today to check out my groceries. Kudos for Ms Karen.

We are happy. The meat department has really done a great job of being attentive to customers.

Monopoly is playing right now. Got corned beef and cabbage the young man in produce very helpful. The drivers in the parking lot need to pay better attention to there driving skills.

The produce is the freshest around for miles, I have seen them dump an entire basket of bananas for being "too ripe". The cuts of meats in the meat department are excellent and the staff go out of their way to assist! Love this store! Cody in meats is a good guy! Cory at the customer desk, like talking to him when he has a minute. John at the register - good heart. Will continue shopping there alone for my food products for the foreseeable future. Thank you Safeway!

A really great store with fantastic employees. I was running low on funds and I was looking at a fifth of piper dean scotch. I was troubling over the fact I was short when a subordinate manager walked up and held out two crisp new Bill's, saying here's two dollars if that will help you and it was just what I needed. I had not spoken a word at all. I'm very grateful to the young man and I intend to pay him back if I see him. Thank you Safeway .

I enjoy shopping at Benson Safeway for many reasons 1) produce is always fresh 2) produce section is always clean & neat 3) kids aren't playing with produce
4) meat department has fresh meat & clean & tidy as well
5) Deli is clean & organized
6) Customer service is GREAT!!!!
The only downside is between 2-6 there is always lines but they tell you on their site that those are popular hours. So if I'm pushed for time or just don't want to wait, I go earlier or later in the day.
5) costumer service is GREAT
