Food Lion

I stopped by here around 9:45pm on a Saturday evening while on my way home to get some juice. When I walked in, I saw 1 register and the self checkout open.

While browsing, I noticed that they have a Large beer/mixed drinks section, which isn’t in my Food Lions by my home in Greensboro. They also have a huge wine selection. Since I was walking so fast and not really paying attend, I unintentionally walked right past the juices. Thinking I couldn’t find it, I asked an employee, who was helpful. I also ended up getting a bag of chips to accompany some spinach dip i planned to make.

At 9:53, I went to self checkout, which was good for me as I tend to get more than I planned and spend way too long in grocery stores. It was simple and easy. You can enter your MVP member. As soon as my carry cart was empty, an employee took it and put it away. No complaints really. The store was clean and seemed very stocked.

If you are going to shop for food, go here. The selection and variety is vast and the prices are great. The store layout is simple and is always clean with nice shopping carts. The staff are not friendly but are not annoying, which is better in my opinion. They bag your items in gray or blue bags, depending if the item is refrigerated or not (blue for refrigerated).

Very nice clean place to shop. I'm from out of state and visit this area a few times a year and always shop here. The cashiers offer a courtesy card to receive the sale prices. That's pretty huge as opposed to taking time to get a temporary card!

I usually go on Friday mornings when the produce lady Stephanie is on duty who gives excellent customer service! I usually pick up some Pimento cheese and crackers however this past Friday my normal brand was out. Well Stephanie made some without hesitation and it was the bomb!

Nice store. Lots of options and I looove their store brand cereal. It's super cheap and most of the time identical to the national brand as far as look and taste. They have an app that gives you great discounts and coupons. So easy to clip them to your card and it's all accessable easily on your phone or tablet and you can even enter your phone number at checkout and everything that was on your phone goes straight into the computer. Super simple. Staff is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Only thing I didn't like was that the floor was getting buffed the night I went and so it was kind of loud. Every time I thought I'd gotten away from them, they would catch back up to me and so most of my shopping experience was fairly loud. But overall I had a fantastic experience and I would go back here to shop again for my groceries. I got some great deals!

I always come around 7pm - 9pm when it’s less people shopping. The store has decent prices & sales. The customer service is good also. Everything is usually stocked neatly. Store looks good inside parking lot rarely dirty.
