Love this place. From Starbucks to the front end. This is my go to place 99% of the time. The people know me by name. Friendly staff (only the ones I know which is a lot) . I pretty much live here at times especially when I have my kids with me in there then I'm not leaving any time soon. Never an issue as I can figure stuff out for myself but I'm not afraid to ask anything if I need too. Store director is nice and funny at times,Jamie lee is funny and Carla is funny and Spunky attitude she makes me laugh!!! Len is nice and sweet. The night shifts are nice too. Bird is nice and friendly, Kelty is nice and funny too. Too many to name. All good with people. Starbucks can't forget them. Miguel , Andrea, Julia, Tina are all nice and pleasant amd funny. Like family to us.

Huge thank you to the supervisor in the Deli department. I wish I caught her name. I had ordered a veggie tray for Thanksgiving. The person who helped me asked what I was looking to order and wrote the order for me. I requested a pickup time of 11:00 on Thanksgiving day. I asked if I needed a receipt or a copy of the order. He said no, we’ll just have it ready. He said he just needed a first name. I asked him to add my last name initial as well.
When I came to pick it up, I was told it wasn’t there. The person who helped me just told me multiple times, there was no order with my name. I kept trying to explain the order was placed but the response was it’s not here.
Thankfully, the supervisor intervened. She was so kind and helpful, and assured me she would make it right. She found my order and explained that the person who wrote it up wrote the wrong date - the next day. She apologized and got another tray that was to be picked up in an hour, modified it a bit and said she would make a new one for the customer due in an hour. She said she would ensure we had what we needed for Thanksgiving. She was so helpful and thoughtful. I so appreciated her and hope she had a great holiday! I’ll be back the next time I need to order! Thank you!

This is one of my favorite Safeway stores because it’s so well stocked and clean every time I go here. Ample and great quality produce is really important to me and they never let me down. Staff here is also friendly and helpful.

Very clean and organized. They were out of an item they advertized and they had no problem doing a price adjustment on a similar item. Employees were very helpful and courteous.

Covered parking! Great layout of the store! Very clean and nice. Possibly the best Safeway I've ever been to. I drive from Maricopa just to shop here.

Love this location!! The employees are all very friendly & willing to help, & it's a nice quiet store. Their prices are comparable to everywhere else, which was my main reason for not shopping here sooner (Safeway used to be more expensive). Bonus point for how quickly the checkout process is: there's very rarely a line to checkout, & the few times there has been a line, it moves very fast...I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to checkout. I'm switching to shopping here instead of Fry's, which is where I've been going for years!!

Always clean and one of the best produce departments around. They also have a nice selection of liquor and wine to suit any taste.

The best bakery for a best price and yummy taste custom cakes. I hardly write any reviews but this one I just wanted to share. I was looking for customized Spider-Man cake and after roaming around 3-4 stores (hearing no from them) finally ended up here. They already had customized Spider-Man theme cakes but we wanted different one when we showed the picture to the baker she immediately said she can do. We were little doubtful but when we saw the cake it came out very well. Thank you Safeway!!

They had the things I was looking for, they usually do:)

We visited safeway tonight on alma school road to pick up some marrow bones for our dogs. We come once a week for a pack. Tonight when we visited the store seemed to be rearranged and we couldn't find them. I went over to the meat counter and asked the gentleman where I could now find them. He told me where there new location was so we went to look. Still couldnt find them. So I went back to the meat counter and told him that we didn't find any. He stopped what he was doing and walked over with us to where they were supposed to be. Turns out it was all sold out but he explained to me that they should be getting a delivery in tomorrow morning and to give a call so a pack could be held for me. We thanked him and finished our shopping and were getting ready to leave. George (the gentleman behind the meat counter) found us as we were walking out to the parking lot and told us he found one last pack of bones for us. We were both blown away. I've worked in customer service for 16 years and I have never had such an amazing experience as I did tonight. George made our dogs (and us) very, very happy and we hope he gets the recognition he deserves! He was the best!

This Safeway is clean, and the staff are friendly. If you are looking to purchase alcohol please bring a state ID from AZ or a national one since they did not accept my out of state ID. The food is well stocked and fresh with good prices.

I love this store! Here you can always get fresh food at a reduced price, for me this is extremely important.

Always like to go Safeway. All products are nice and fresh. We get many deals and good price.

Lots of great things to say about this location. First, the people working at the Starbucks are incredible. I go here every morning for coffee and they know my name and my order, they also offer the best suggestions on new drinks to try. As for the groceries, the checks move fast and there is no shortage of selection.

My wife and I always have found quality and friendly service when we shop at this store. We also feel their pharmacy is very professional. Changed over from CVS pharmacy and very pleased with the decision.
