Update: Things seem to be turning around for the better here lately. Especially noteworthy is the recent changes made to the bakery. A new bakery manager has made all the difference in this department. Things that were old favorites are back again, and quality has improved exponentially. This is a good little store, sometimes a wee bit pricey, but worth it if you don't want to drive up the business spur to the big box stores. Last of the small grociers left in the downtown area. Nice, hometown store.

Great place to get your fresh and finest food at your quickest inconvenience.

Friendly people. There is a lot of great local products. The deli is great. If you can always support local businesses!

Updating my review because of the excellent service I received my last trip in.

It was quite clean and bright inside and it seemed to have a better atmosphere then last time I was in. I found everything okay and everyone seemed nice.

I stopped to get some plants (because you can't have enough plants) and was pleasantly surprised at how good they all looked and the nice variety they had to offer. I spoke with Jessica and she was wonderful to chat with.

When I was checking out Jessica made sure that my plants were well taken care of for their trip to the truck. She boxed them, covered them, and made sure they were safe to go. She was awesome! I will definately be stopping back by once in a while to see what's going on with the plants since I know she is taking excellent care of them.

Such a nice store! The Deli has hot food that is delicious. We both got hot plates of food from the Deli and we were blown away at how good it was, definitely not frozen. Good prices and very clean.

Their store brand items are great and I shop there very frequently. The store is always clean and we'll stocked. The deli has a nice selection of pre-made salads and sandwiches and the Chester Fried Chicken is the best around! The store is big enough to stock a sufficient variety but small enough to find what you want and buy it in no time at all.

Great prices, super friendly employees. We we're lucky enough to arrive on a day that they had a seafood table set up with an employee there to give you personalized portions. Fish wasn't what we were there for, but we made a special trip back to the table. It was so worth it!

This truly home town gro. Store is the best there customer care goes above and beyond . The deli food is outstanding and is a pillar in our community, and to the cashier employee who helped my son with his purchase you realy are a beautiful person and a great asset to the store and our community. It's exam week and I was running low on supplies. I stopped by to pick up a few items after class today. Imagine my surprise when I got home with only one of my items. I called the store and the Manager Mark was kind, understanding and very helpful. Knowing how important coffee is to a college student, he offered to bring the rest of my items to my home. You could not get this type of customer service elsewhere! Thank you for being local, being professional and most of all for being kind to your fellow neighbors in the Sault.

The staff here is amazing. The young ladies in the deli are so friendly. Prices are good, and they always have great deals. Like today I got asparagus for 99 cents a bunch.

I have been going to pats iga and super valu before that. Most if the same people there. They are always helpful and friendly. The store is clean maybe the prices aren't the same as the box store but they pay city taxes. They have great sales and great meats. Its a must to shop store. If you can't find something ask.

I looked everywhere for a certain 2 items and shame on me, BOTH ITEMS WERE AT PAT'S. I won't do that again, I'LL BE GOING TO PAT'S FOODS FIRST, where I live it's the closest store. DUH! KUDOS TO PAT'S FOODS!

Soo Supervalue is a great store. They have helpful staff who are really friendly. The deli has amazing chicken salad and tuna pasta salad. I work downtown so it's really convenient for getting things after work without having to traverse all the way to the business spur. They are also a special supporter of our non-profit organization which shows they believe in helping the people of Sault Ste. Marie! Thank you, Supervalue! You are really super!
