Don Hatting Supermarket

022224 my first time here. I didn't know there were any independent old-fashioned grocery stores like this still around. A friend of mine told me about this place a year or so ago. I was finally in the area and stopped in. I am hooked! LOL they have everything and if they don't have it ask they'll order it, they have things you can't find other places. They make fresh lunch meat sandwiches, they have hot meals ready to eat for carryout. A wide assortment of salads and coleslaws and other mixtures and a great looking meat department. The lady who waited on me at the meat counter was superb as was the lady at the check out.

What a TREASURE to have in our neighborhood!!! Just bought a home in Bridgetown and this is a wonderful supermarket with truly an amazing offering of groceries. Also, they have a great deli with the usual cold cuts, and cheeses, but also many other items such as freshly made ham salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, barbecued pork, etc. Additionally, they have delicious fried chicken! They have a fresh meat counter, all your typical varieties of fresh produce, nice frozen food selections, etc. The staff is very nice and helpful. The Dairy Manager, Tanya, is a sweetheart. I am truly ecstatic to have this wonderful supermarket so close by so I don’t have to go to the big box grocers (Kroger, Walmart, etc). I really like the family feel and the friendly staff. Good selection of products. I also like the line to check out is minimal, making it efficient for me.

6/21Had heard of a mom/pop grocery near me so decided to check it out. Excellent service from the employees, very helpful and friendly. Plus discovered that they serve meals on specific days and the prices are very affordable. I tried the meatloaf it was very good, moist and flavorful.

Wonder neighbor grocery, seems like it’s family-owned/operated.

Fabulous place to shop awesome the only thing I would change is the employees need to be more friendly more open and happier but that means the manager has to allow them to be that the manager needs to change his attitude and be more friendly that's the only thing I would change happiness brings happy people and Happy employees make the change then your place is absolutely fabulous

Super neighborhood supermarket, fresh Deli-products, along with all of the other items that you will need to pick up. They have favorable prices and sale items. Not to mention Great Craft Beer selection off the shelf and cold. A must try smaller grocery store.

Only 1 mile from my house. Very friendly staff. Bagging associates will even help elderly customers load there purchase into their vehicles. Good craft beer selection. Deli and meat section will do good for a bbq on short notice.

Maybe a little more expensive… but their ready to eat and party/deli items are the bomb, and it’s so convenient for a quick in and out trip. Try the cheeseball!

I love this store! They carry alot of specialty items too but my favorite thing about the store are their hot lunches/dinners at the deli counter. All the staff seem happy!

Nice community market that has a true small town feel. Owner takes time to know his customers by name. They have a great meat/deli counter & a good selection of groceries you would expect to find in the big box stores.

Spotless, attractive, neighborhood market which carries most items that I need on a regular basis. Its large enough to find what you need, but will not take hours to complete your shopping. Friendly and accommodating staff are always happy to help. Daily available hot meals are a great time saver, great deli, and a good variety of party trays often save my sanity. Worth checking out for sure.

The customer service here is terrific. Prices are reasonable for a small local grocery store. Never much of a wait for any service. It has a surprising number of the amenities and products of a chain. Today, I purchased one of their pre-made dinners, Beef Tips and Penne, and was surprised at the flavor. It tasted like I had just made it too. Whoever is managing this store really knows what they are doing.

I have been a loyal customer for almost 29 years. Hattings owners and staff are always helpful and kind. I can always find what I need at the best price. They are always
stocked with everything at all times regardless of what is going on in the 🌎 at anytime. I highly recommend shopping at this friendly privately owned family based community oriented grocery store. Sincerely, Desiree Diersing. Also a great place to run into family and friends.

My first trip to Hatting was a good one. I picked up a large chicken order, and they took it on a cart from the back all the way to my car and loaded it. Everyone I interacted with was friendly. This looks to me like a great neighborhood supermarket.

This family owned store has all the grocery items you could want & are very willing to get things in if you ask. Great deli/butcher counter, craft beer & wine selection, baked goods & seasonal indoor & outdoor items. Like the old-fashioned grocery store with all the modern conveniences.
