Undying loyalty to this place. I've come in needing their expertise on so many random things -- bent cotton candy machine, stolen license plate screws, random parts for my grandmother’s old pen holder -- and they're never impatient or flummoxed. Just friendly, calm and smart, a neighborhood spot worth driving in for from other neighborhoods.

Fairly small neighborhood hardware store that I have occasionally used for nearly 40 years. Very friendly, helpful employees and they always seem to have what I need. Love this store!

Find almost anything you need to get the job done but small enough to perk discovery and personal/custom projects without the overwhelming cattle call of big box stores. Only challenge is getting there before they close.

Baller Hardware is a convenient place to shop for just about everything you need for your do it yourself projects and also has a lot of those unique items that the big box Hardware stores just don't stock. They have a friendly staff always ready to help you find the items that you are looking for, and they are open seven days a week.

This is the best Hardware Store in Los Angeles. Great, knowledgeable, friendly staff, been coming here for more than 20 years. They have almost everything - but if you specialty hardware for doors, windows, etc. especially hardware for older buildings I have to give a shout out to Koontz Hardware in West Hollywood. They have every piece of hardware you need and could ever desire. For repairs, friendly, knowledgeable staff, etc. it's Baller by golly.

Excellent neighborhood hardware store that has a little bit of everything that you could need for home fix-it and the like. This is a very down-home kind of store for LA. The people who work here are very helpful and knowledgeable. I'm tempted to want to go farther away to get what I need from a big box store, but when I'm working in this neighborhood, I have no need to do that since Baller is here. They are a very adequate hardware store that so far has always had whatever I needed for the job, and then some.

This is a fantastic neighborhood hardware store. I've been coming here for MANY years, and despite it's size (being just a tiny fraction of the big hardware chains) they have never disappointed on having the item I needed for any general home project.
Baller Art supplies (directly across the street) is also a favorite spot for my art project needs. For me, they are a valuable local resource and I'm very happy they are there.

I went to Baller Hardware to pick up a bistro set I ordered online at Do It Hardware. No problem, but when I got it home the chairs didn't come together like they should have. So I went back to Baller and asked if they could help me figure out why they weren't coming together. The owner, took almost an hour out of his day, when the store was quite busy, and helped me. He was able to get the chairs together for me and even helped me carry the finished chairs to my car. I couldn't have been more pleased. Everyone in the store was nice and I really had a wonderful experience. It may be a small store, but they make up in helpful attitude what they lack in space. I am happy to give them five stars.

Cannot say enough good things about this business. My house is still standing due to them. Great selection of merchandise; even fun soap & organic candles. They have so many things the older houses in the neighborhood need that Home Depot has never heard of. Even mothballs.the staff is just wonderful. I always enjoy going there. You can ask questions, and learn things.

I've gone to both the hardware and the art store and while they definitely have that small store feel with the way things are packed in, they both do an amazing job of keeping things well organized. All the staff I've talked with has been super helpful and nice as well.

Been coming here for years and its consistently one of the best shopping experiences in any category let alone compared to a big corporate hardware store. This place has a great selection for its size and those who work there are knowledgeable and friendly- many have been there for more than a decade. You'd have to be a real grump not to love this place. Thanks for making 'buy local' an easy choice.

One of the last great neighborhood hardware stores. Despite being small it has darn near everything you need for repairs around the house and projects. Great selection of cleaning supplies, spray paint, and good quality products. The sales people are super knowledgable and helpful!

Every time I go there they have more than enough people on stuff to help you accept sometimes and those times it's still just to really calm and wonderful place to be you can always go up to the register and ask whoever's there and they will always summon someone from the back or wherever they are at that time to help you... Hands down by far the most wonderful staff and just be sure that you're in there before 5:30 because they absolutely close at 5:30 there is no doubt in my mind that 5:30 is what time that they absolutely definitely will not let anyone back in or anything like that and that's the right and that's the privilege business and none of mine well I like my business with them so far don't go in after 5:30 you won't they won't it's not possible they seem to have enough integrity that I don't think is if you waved hundreds of dollars of bills in for another window that they would open the door I don't they won't
