Coming out of the mountains after a day of hiking in mid-afternoon we were challenged to find a restaurant still open. Lolita’s deli sandwiches to the rescue.

Lolita’s offers a wide variety of sandwiches (hot and cold) at reasonable prices. The sandwich operation is in the back of the store where there are two electronic kiosks to select and customize your choice. The rest of the store is a mini-grocery store offering a nice selection of items that are hard to pass up.

Their handheld breakfast burrito is #1 in Boulder. Sandwiches are very good. Wonderful oasis in downtown Boulder.

After reading about this place online, I decided to stop in for a takeout breakfast burrito. I placed an online order from the parking lot and then went in to check out the store. It’s stocked with health-conscious, upscale goods and while the prices are as high as you’d expect, they’re not as bad as other local shops. After a few mins, the burrito was ready and I picked it up from a very nice person behind the deli counter. It was fantastic - both cheaper and better than most of the local breakfast burritos we’ve tried. We will be back again soon.

Stepping into Lolita’s for the first time was a rather dangerous thing. Surrounded on all sides by sweets, sweets and more sweets, it truly enticed my senses. Not a bad thing; there were more unusual treats than I could ever imagine. It was kind of like walking into a candy shop. Walking up to the deli I ordered a freshly made gyros. And by that time I was carrying Boulder potato chips and Nick, Nora’s & Emily’s toffee apple crunch. The crunchy toffee apple popcorn is the most amazing taste sensation ever! Half the bag was happily devoured on my way home in the car. Great folks, delicious food and right across the street from Spruce Confections!

Appreciate your behind the grill it was a great custom burrito. It was worth the time I was getting a little anxious because of the need to be to work but I made it so that’s all it matters your burritos are the real deal a full meal for sure. Thanks.

Lolita’s Market is a classic Boulder establishment. Expect higher prices for your stuff but is open late and it’s always fully stocked with what you need. Will always be my late night go-to on the west side of Pearl Street. Employees usually are pretty friendly as well!

I am not a ranch fan but I loved their chicken bacon ranch. Egg sandwich with bacon and cheddar needs a sauce, was a little dry. Or needs that liquidy cheese American brings to the table. Nice people working there. I was expecting to pay a fortune being used to NYC bodega prices, so I was amazed at how honest they keep things. We got meals 3 times during our 5 day trip. No regrets

I’m visiting family and reached out to a social media friend about where to eat on Pearl St and he recommended Lolita’s. My family of 4 and mom stopped in and ordered sandwiches and picked up other provisions from the market and really enjoyed our food and experience. I had the Italian, my wife had the California, and my mom and kids had the BLT. Everyone loved their food! The bread, meat, cheese, veggies and fixings were all wonderfully put together making excellent sandwiches for all of us. It seemed like a locals hangout but it’s located right off 8th and Pearl, and we will be happy to recommend Lolita’s to friends and would come again in a heartbeat!!

Lolita's offers a very Boulderesque riff on the east coast bodega, with a wide range of quick-serve deli items, and a few small, but well-stocked grocery aisles, packed with natural foods products that are usually found at larger-scale organic grocers. This place stays open late, so if you need a small snack when everything else is closed, this is the spot. Sometimes there are strange, homeless-looking, Pearl St. weirdos that congregate outside, but the store always has a homey, laid-back, comforting vibe, and is a reminder of how Boulder used to be before the gentrification invasion of the mid-2000s. I like being able to stop here and pick up a few grocery items before bed, especially if I forgot to get something from the store earlier in the day. There is a great selection of candy, energy bars, takeaway items, and chilled beverages, beyond what you will find at your typical gas station or convenience store. I'm glad Lolita's has hung in there through such a turbulent market, where there has been so much turnover in Pearl St. storefronts, and when smaller, street-corner food markets around the country have been forced to close. Where else can you get your hemp milk and organic popcorn at 12:30am on a Tuesday evening? Lolita's! Always a good time.

Great choice for a bodega in West Pearl. Solid sandwiches from the service deli; management really cares about the customer’s experience.

Lolitas is the most convenient convenience store in downtown Boulder. Thet have everything and many specialty items like their toffee caramel corn. So good. And they have my blood orange tea. Try their morning coffee. Don't forget to tip Savanah and Jill. Their worth it. It's the first store i visited when I moved here and now frequent it daily.

The best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had. Lots of burnt end pieces. Will definitely be back!

Great selection of interesting, high-quality, and often locally sourced snacks/treats. I used to work nearby and frequented the sandwich counter. Everything I ever ordered was delicious (I usually got the Reuben or the Green Grocer veggie sandwich). People working there are friendly.

The market itself is great, friendly people, unique products and fair prices. The Sandwich shop in back is excellent. Been going to the market for a couple months now but finally got a sandwich (Mile High Club) today for the first time. Sandwich was delicious, not too heavy, but packed with ham, turkey and bacon. Will definitely be adding this to my lunch repertoire.

They have an amazing selection for such a small place, Mexican Coke, Japanese candy, and a chocolate section that's just incredible. The deli always takes good care of you. It's been around forever and everybody I know loves the place.
