I went to a wine tasting with my family and it was absolutely phenomenal! Nicole was great, I loved her descriptions of each wine and she was very friendly. She really knew what she was talking about and made me so excited for each wine! Tons of charcuterie, enough for everyone to have seconds still with some leftovers. Amazing wine selections. I'm not usually a fan of Chardonnay, but even the chardonnays here were seriously amazing. 10/10

Best Wine Shop in Pasadena. Nicole can decipher what you want, even when you aren't sure how to describe it. Through her thoughtful questions and amazing listening, discovering new wine that you love becomes easy. She can also pair brilliantly if you need a bottle for a meal. 10/10!!!

I was running late finalizing my gifts for Thanksgiving and needed a special gift to be delivered quickly. I gave Nicole, the proprietor, a call at Pasadena Wine. My goodness the selection, the recommendations, the knowledge and the patience Nicole shared was breathtaking. The bottles of Champagne ordered, were delivered timely and with great care in a beautiful box containing the note we asked to be enclosed. Pasadena Wine, Bravo and Brava to the proprietor Nicole.

Nicole is the absolute best! The recommendations are always spot on. Wines are so tasty and affordable. She’s very personable and always makes you feel so welcome. Love that she does tasting events and can’t wait to eventually go to one with my husband. Also her furbaby is so sweet 🥹🍷🐶

Nicole is one of the friendliness and most-knowledgable "wine people" I've ever met, so I was ecstatic when I learned that she was opening her own shop in Pasadena. When I visited the shop, I told Nicole the types of wine we usually like, as well as our typical price point, and she picked out a bunch of incredible (and fun) wines for us. We'll be enjoying our case of 12 bottles over the next few months, and will think of her every time we open a new one. We'll be back to stock up again sometime soon, I'm sure!

Pasadena Wine Shop is my new "regular" for wine! It's the Premier wine shop in Pasadena. I have shopped at all the others, some have vast inventories, and some very fine wines, but - owner Nicole haswhat you need - she stocks a wider variety of wines than even the late great Chronicle Wine Cellar (where I "worked" from 2007 - 2013!) Nicole is very knowledgeable and listens to her customers to help get what they want. And the prices are competitive! Stop by, you'll become a regular!!

Nicole at Pasadena Wine Shop was a shining light in a sea of darkness. Trying to order alcohol for 120 people in Los Angeles was surprisingly difficult. Nicole saved me with her incredible service, Prompt and communicative nature, and how knowledgeable she was - she blew every chain store out of the water. I cannot recommend Nicole and her Pasadena Wine Shop enough. Pasadena Wine Shop is the best shop for weddings or everyday wine! Great selection!

This was the best wine shop experience I’ve ever had! Nicole knows her stuff and she is the first person to recommend something that ended up being exactly what I was describing! Selection is very well thought out and curated and prices are amazing to boot. Best wine shop in Pasadena for sure.

Such a great experience visiting Pasadena Wine Shop! Nicole had some great recommendations for a variety of wines. She listened to what I like and was looking for and expertly pointed me towards some of her favorite selections. Really yummy wines at a good price and, best of all, a knowledgeable sommelier to learn from!

Nicole is the BEST! We came in on a whim and will definitely be getting all our wine here from now on. Every wine she recommended based on our tastes was a winner (and super affordable), and she is so knowledgeable and personable!

This spot just opened up a few minutes from our home and my wife and I are very excited! We are working on our wine education, and the excellent selection + personal guidance from the Pasadena Wine Shop owner is helping us develop our palates. We hosted a few friends to do a tasting of what we bought -- each wine was delicious and inspired great conversation amongst the group. We will definitely be going back to the Pasadena Wine Shop for more suggestions and education!

We were presenting at a conference at Pasadena City College (PCC) and found this wine shop close to our hotel. The wine shop looked small from the outside but the selection of wine inside was great! The owner was very welcoming and provided perfect wine suggestions based on what we told her we were getting for dinner. They had many of the wines already chilled and ready to go. We told her that we would stop by after our conference again the next day to get more wine to go with our takeout dinners. The next day, we were not able to get to the store before closing as we were still at the conference. I called to see if she would extend her closing a half hour later. She wasn't able to but instead suggested she drop off the wine to us at PCC! We quickly put in our online order, got a drop off, and had wonderful wines again for dinner. We ordered a couple of white wines and she dropped of the chilled ones just in case we were drinking it soon! Not only was she great at picking out wines for us, the service was amazing. Thank you so much!

I adore this shop. It's small. It's friendly. It's tucked on tree-lined Green Street. It has designated off-street parking. The shop itself does not occupy a big footprint, which I love, because such careful thought has been given to what you find on the shelves. They stock half bottles and a limited selection of (cold!) beers as well. A true bonus? Shop owner, Nicole, is a delight. On our second visit she said "welcome back!" without hestiation- remembering us from our first visit during a busy opening weekend. This already feels like the neighborhood gem is it destined to be!

Absolutely love this wine shop! A well-curated and affordable collection of delicious wines from around the globe.........and a very respectable small collection of beer. The owner is delightful and knowledgeable. Do yourself a favor and check out this gem.
