Always great music playing as you browse the wide selection of new and used Vinyl. I can always find a good used CD or five.

Awesome record shop with lots of new and previously love vinyl, pretty much a little bit of everything for most. There is also a vintage clothing shopped in the same space with a good selection of clothes for me women and children.

The best record store around. All the albums are organized to easily peruse whatever genre or artists of your taste. Fantastic record store day offerings, as well as live music upon occasion.

This place is heaven sent for someone like me or anyone who loves vinyl. I once had over 3000 albums, of which I lost to water damage and other unfortunate events. Ragged Records has been what I wanted here over 20 years ago when I was heavily collecting. If they were around, I apologize for not seeking you out, like I did every other town I visited. Every time I stop in an album that I've been looking for and have a strong connection with, it falls on my lap. Every time! They have a huge collection, and I keep finding out about the records underneath the displays. Don't forget about those if you go! What else? Reasonably priced and have albums I would have never imagined I'd see again.

I recently went in looking for used stereo equipment. Bob took a lot of time to show me things and answer questions. He kept me exactly in my budget and I've been thrilled with the sound. They have a huge selection of vinyl and CDs. I was surprised that they had most of the indie artists I like. This is a great local business, run by very helpful and kind people.

I've been around, and this is in the running for best record store in the US. Such a gem to have in Iowa. Rare classic records priced extremely fairly. New vinyl at great prices, even for stuff that has gone out of print. Well organized.

These guys just seem to constantly get quality, desirable titles that other record stores don't get. I don't know how they do it, but if you are within remote driving distance of this store, you need to check this out.

Widest selection of used records that I've ever come across with anywhere near this level of loving and honest organization. Their grading system is spot-on honest, and their new record selection is broad too.

There's always a cool mix of vintage equipment for sale too, and this record store is a diligent and generous member of the local music community in multiple ways that make it extremely worth supporting.

By far one of the best record stores I have ever been in !! All kinds of hidden gems in new and old stock vinyl .. The people who work there or friendly and are always happy to help you find something. The selection is out of this world big with thousands and thousands of records from Tupac to Willie Nelson and also a great Blues section .. Everything we have ever bought was clean and in good condition as well .. Love Ragged Records !!

Impressive selection of both vinyl and CD. Any place that has spoken word records of beat poets is cool by me. The prices are right too. All this in a cool environment with nice folks who are happy to help. Well worth a visit.
