Really neat stop on Iowa 80. Lots of different trucks. Some newer ones but of course there are lots of old ones, so it's neat to see their evolution. Also some interesting information about trucks and different engines. Even if you aren't necessarily passionate about trucking, if you like traveling and learning to gain more understanding of the world and other people, we would recommend this museum.

Update:
Wow! I got back when they are open but still without enough time. Their exhibits are great! If you are driving I80 and have a bit of time you will not regret a stop.

This looks like an interesting museum. I didn't check their hours. They were closed, so I'll need to go back another time. It really looks worth a stop!

This is a free museum. They do take donations tho. The staff were friendly. They have nice collections of unique trucks. Each one has their own story. The museum is big, so it might take about 30-45 mins to walkthrough. The gift shop also cute. The place is clean and inviting.

A very well managed and well preserved truck museum. Iowa 80 is not only famous for worlds largest truck stop but also this museum. It’s a must if you are visiting/stopping by Iowa 80. The trucks from yesterday era are kept here. The exhibits are from early 1900 onwards. The staff is very polite and helpful. There is a souvenir shop from where you can purchase souvenirs.

MUST VIST.......It's one of the best truck museums. it's a must-see if you are driving by I-80. The museum is free, and it has a good variety of trucks to see and explore. It's great for kids and families to enjoy the best part it's that it is free! You definitely travel back in time when being here.

This is an excellent museum and a must-visit if you’re in the area. There has to be over 100 different trucks dating all the way back to the turn of the 20th century. Trucks of all kinds were on display in the large warehouse space with a helpful info plaque for each truck. One could potentially spend a few hours looking at all these trucks and reading the info, but that depends on how in-depth you want to see everything. The best part is that this museum is absolutely free! I went on a Saturday morning and the museum wasn’t even that crowded. There’s so much to see at this museum and I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Such a neat place, being able to look at all these old trucks that used to roll up and down the highways of yesterday and help build this great nation that we live in today. And for people that are worried about the cost of going into this museum, no need to. It's free if you find yourself rolling down the road in Iowa on interstate 80 it's definitely worth stopping and spending a little time.

It is FREE!!!!!! Have gotten to stop at the I-80 truck stop 2 times now but this time we went into the museum. It was pretty cool! HUGE for sure! All kinds of old trucks, way more types and kinds than I'd ever imagined or ever even seen pictures of before. Very educational place. Quiet and relaxing. Clean and bright, lots of legible signs to read about every truck. There was also old gas pumps of many kinds, trash cans, tons and tons of old vintage signs on the walls. Even an old yellow coca-cola truck! They have trucker Q & A ln the wall, tons of facts to learn about the trucking industry in general, as well as a trucker terminology translation sheet. Nice sized gift shop to find something to take home. Even little red and blue squishy stress trucks with the I-80 logo on them🤣. Was a great stop!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Iowa-80 Truck Museum, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! As a truck enthusiast, this place was an absolute haven for me, and I can't wait to share my fantastic experience.

First and foremost, the collection of trucks on display is simply astounding. From vintage classics to modern marvels, the Iowa-80 Truck Museum showcases the evolution of trucking history in an incredibly comprehensive way. Each truck is beautifully preserved and presented, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the industry.

The museum's organization and layout deserve a special mention. The exhibits are well-designed and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to navigate and appreciate the unique features of each truck. I appreciated the detailed information provided alongside the exhibits, offering fascinating insights into the stories behind these incredible machines.

The staff at the Iowa-80 Truck Museum were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their subject matter. They were more than happy to answer any questions and engage in conversations about trucks, making the visit even more enjoyable.

What truly impressed me was the interactive aspect of the museum. They have interactive displays and hands-on activities that provide a glimpse into the trucking world and its challenges. It's not just a static display of vehicles; it's an immersive experience that brings the world of trucking to life.

The gift shop is a treasure trove of truck-related merchandise and souvenirs. I couldn't resist taking home a few truck models and other memorabilia as a memento of my unforgettable visit.

Lastly, the museum's facilities were excellent. Clean restrooms, ample parking space, and easy accessibility for all visitors added to the overall positive experience.

In conclusion, the Iowa-80 Truck Museum is a must-visit destination for anyone with an interest in trucks, transportation history, or simply seeking an enjoyable and educational outing. It's a hidden gem that deserves all the accolades it receives. I can't recommend it enough, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Absolutely Loved It!!! So much to look at. We spent a couple hours walking around and enjoying all the different trucks and history on them that span over a hundred years. They have some very rare one of a kind trucks you can only see here. There is a Reo Theatre with short films on the history of the trucks. Great place to bring the entire family. The facility is very clean and spacious. The staff is wonderfully informative and polite. Had a Wonderful Time.

What a gem. Free! But please donate. The staff is very welcoming when you arrive. Spent an hour wandering around. Then hit the gift shop for a Smokey & The Bandit T-shirt. Score! The bathrooms are immaculate. So hold it until you hit the World's Largest Trunk Stop.

I enjoyed this place even more than I thought I would. It's a must see. Take the time to pull over off the highway to check it out. Then go to the nearby "World's Largest Truck Stop" and check that out, as well.

Wow very interesting and there are a lot of trucks to be seen. They even have super rare ones and trucks that have been in movies. They take donations. Clean place. Gift shop was nice too. The only thing... there wasn't a changing table in the women's bathroom so heads up. Cool place. Worth going the place is huge.
