One of my favorite places in Charleston, and more people need to know about it! This place is an AMAZING family owned/operated European market and cafe. Not only can you find fun imported goodies in the market side, but LET ME TELL YOU THE CAFE IS LIFE CHANGING! From slow cooked tomato sauce over savory cabbage rolls to a gooey cheesy bread boat (khachapuri) that will bring tears to your eyes it's so delicious, and so much more. They are open for lunch weekdays but until 6 on Saturdays. Here's a tip: round up ateaay 4-5 people and all go at once and order basically the whole menu and share everything. It's impossible to choose only a few dishes. Or just keep going back! Either way, put it on your list to eat at and pick up a few treats to bring home!

WOW. Walked in on a chance this morning and it was like a I took a trip to my mom’s polish kitchen. The market section was extremely nostalgic and I found foods I haven’t had since my babcia took care of me when I was little. Ordered the Pierogies with mushroom cream sauce and I’ve lived in Charleston for 5 years and it was a top five best thing I’ve had since moving here.

The food is amazing, been going there for a couple years, the food at their cafe is absolutely delicious and beautiful. The people who worker there are super friendly and the environment is very comfortable

I should have taken a picture of my food to share- it was so beautiful! ABSOLUTELY fresh, delicious, and packed with flavor. The dine in area is precious. Wonderful service. Authentic food. If you are debating trying this out, I would recommend it!!! 100% positive experience!

Scandalous statement: this might be the best restaurant in Charleston! Yep, I said it and stand by it. I grew up eating pierogies, and these are some of the best I've ever had. Forgive me for not trying to spell their other food items (lol), but the cheese/bread boat dish might just be the best thing I've ever eaten. I nearly cried, and I'm not even joking. The schnitzel is fantastic! The open faced sandwich with meat is amazing! The little beef dumpling thingies are delicious! I also need to mention that everybody that works there is delightful! Try the Georgian sodas. Very different from the usual and really wonderful. I might go back daily. Just know that the Cafe is closed on Sundays.

Great selection of Russian goods at this store. The store is small but has everything you could wish for and even more. Everything we bought was great. The cafe had good selection of food with very attractive prices. We loved everything we ordered except borsch which was just so so in taste. But everything else we tried was great!

Some of the best Eastern European and Georgian (country Georgia, not the state) food I've had in my life. And I grew up in those parts of the world, so it tells you something 😊

Ok so all you need to know is they have a bread boat. Filled with cheese. Topped with an egg. It is luscious. Pierogis and sampler rounded out our shared meal. Delightful experience and awesome value. Plus fun to browse in the market area.

Great little restaurant, cute atmosphere and lovely people. You get a good variety on the menu of traditional eastern European, Ukrainian, Russian and Georgian food. Most importantly you get real authentic people from the countries mentioned above cooking it for you right there from scratch. Food was absolutely delicious, portions were very generous.
They also have European food store with variety of grocery items and some alcohol

Wanted to try the cafe here and for good reason. Delicious Eastern European fare. Authentic flavors with many options and counter service. Fast and tasty.

Hands down, the best restaurant we’ve had here since moving to the Charleston area in March. The khachapuri is to die for and is in fact so good, that my super picky son declared that it’s the best thing he’s ever eaten. Besides this, the pierogis are the best I’ve ever had, the schnitzel is amazing, the accompanying salad is perfect, and the whole ambience of the restaurant and attached grocery store are amazing. This restaurant is a stark reminder that’s it’s absolutely insane that Eastern European food isn’t more popular in the United States.

Everything was fresh and amazing! All of their food is made from scratch and it shows! The staff was so sweet and knowledgable, and eager to help newcomers find just what they wanted. Definitely will be coming back here, the chebureki is phenomenal!

I went to Euro Foods Bakery & Cafe because I miss my wife's Borscht soup. I am glad I went because I was not disappointed. I liked it so much that I went and purchased Chicken Schnitzel and the Sampler Platter. Delicious!

This is one of the best eating establishments in the Charleston area. I say eatibg establishment as the store next door is equally as awesome and important. Charleston NEEDS Eastern Europen influx into it's culinary matrix. Desperately. Try the pierogies, kielbasa, BORSCHT, pelmeni.... also buy sime landjaeger, rye bread, pelmenis, etc, to take home. Wow. Heaven.

I love coming here for the selection. Lots of great items at pretty decent prices. If you are new to Eastern European stuff, do a little research beforehand for some recipes and they will help you out. Plenty of premade stuff to choose from as well

Oh boy. Like bread? Like cheese? Like cheesy bread? Ahh-mazing. (They have other things besides cheesy bread) great little grocery to boot.

Very nice place to try Eastern European food. I ate some of these dishes when I was in Poland, and it tastes the same! I hope they will keep up with good service 👍

This place is fabulous! I used to live in Moscow and I grew to love blinis, khachipuri, and pelmeni. They have it all on the menu here, and it's delicious and freshly made! When I ordered the khachipuri, the chef immediately started kneading the dough. It doesn't get fresher than that. The store that is attached is also wonderful, with lots of Eastern European goodies that brought back a lot of memories. 5/5 stars!
