I’ve been building models since before before web tv days and have gotten my two boys into it as well. Finding a locally owned (still locally owned even if I have to drive an hour one way) shop that caters to this hobby was a god send. Both of the owners Justin and Carolyn make it an amazing experience that keeps my family coming back. From the atmosphere there to them making you feel like you’re more than just a sale in their eyes and your purchase is appreciated because you share a similar interest. As long as they’re in business I’ll keep making my weekly to biweekly trips. Thank you both for creating the space you have.

I seem to always win with MTG sets I buy here haha I think 4/5 of them have paid for themselves and some. Love that it’s right down the street from work too.

Great Local Card/Hobby shop, they do Pokémon Prerelease Events When they come around and Sell all types of Board Games to Figures to All Types of TCG Products. From Metazoo, Digimon, to Pokémon, & Magic The Gathering.

Massive Gunpla selection. Probably the best in the state. Even have some rare and exclusive hard to find kits.

Best place in CT for Gunpla and Warhammer. The staff Rocks the shops ALWAYS stacked to the ceiling with items to shop for.

This place is awesome. I decided to check this place out on my lunch, I work in Madison, and saw that this place was just down the street. Upon walking in, I was really impressed with the inventory, layout, and cleanliness of the store. Caroline helped me with assembling a commons Magic Deck, as I am a noob player. Her patience and friendliness was top-tier. I will be returning for matches, setting my friends up with decks using their store inventory, and whatever else worth stopping at Akiba Underground for. Highly recommended- lovely seeing a local store like this in Clinton.

This place is fantastic. Great selection and a variety of themes. From models to games to miniatures to card sleeves and painting supplies. I was pleasantly surprised at the volume of the inventory. We will be back.

Staff member was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. My son is newly obsessed with Pokémon and I had no idea where to start with a Xmas gift for him. The sales lady was fantastic and very helpful. Prices were very reasonable. So glad I found this place! Thank you!

As an Anime artist and lover, I HEAVILY ADORE THIS PLACE. I wish there were more places like this as well as people who actually like Anime in this state.

This store is chock full of fascinating things for gamers and manga/anime fans. Collectibles, books, games, cosplay clothing - there’s lots to choose from. They also host live tournaments in a back room. Very friendly staff.

Neat little store tucked into a small street. Has a really solid collection of gunpla and accessories; best I've seen in the state. Prices are fair, store location is superb and right off 95, and selection is great, for a small hobby store. What more could you ask for?

Absolutely love this place. We are pretty new to southeast ct and found them - im so glad we did. Amazing collection of gunpla and figures. I adore rement blind boxes and they have them! I now go here for prerelease boxes for MTG as well.

Awesome little shop! Has a great collection of gaming and anime merch, from D&D to Gundams and more! Something for everyone, and run by someone who's fun to talk to whenever I stop by! Prices are very good considering there's lots of imported items!!

My husband and I visited earlier today to take a look at the merch at Akiba Underground and we both found something we wanted and ended up buying. They definitely have a ton of Gunpla kits, some cute prize and popup figures and a few scale figures that I noticed. They also have anime merch/card sleeves/boxed game sets/some clothing and supplies for painting figures.

Love this shop! The owners are great - super knowledgeable and fun to chat with, and all of the products are at incredibly competitive prices. The events that they hold in the store look like a lot of fun, too. I was really impressed by their collection of j-fashion pieces, and will DEFINITELY be coming back!

One of the best shops around, friendly staff that help you with your purchases. Best shop around for magic the gathering, they sell the best prebuilt decks for beginners and care about people getting into the hobby

This is the best anime and and Magic the gathering store in the area. It is co-owned by a couple tea with the female of the couple being in more often. As a female in the anime hobby it is comforting to have a female in the store as well. Very nice people. Very worth the stop.
