Meal with a large Kosher selection. Lots of baked goods (North Shore baked goods too), deli (including chopped liver Bologna tuna salad egg salad and more), meat section, refrigerated section (several brands of everything and they have Romanians), 3 triple aisles of dry non perishables and a nice sized candy section.

Great place to drop in shop and get everything on list and other things that aren't. Definitely one stop shop for everyday needs. Friendly staff always helpful.

Great selection of kosher foods and in general always good quality and fresh. Helpful staff and managers. Great selection of produce and snacks always have what you need. In addition to onsite bakery’s, deli’s and a great sushi shop. They also have a great Osco section with all the toiletries and household supplies you’ll need so really a great store to have in the area. Highly recommended for your weekly grocery shopping or just for a nice quick snack grab.

Prices are high at Jewel, but staff, fresh produce, location make it worth it. Jim Demos is great. He is always very helpful. He's been there for years and always goes above and beyond. Pharmacy staff is excellent. Sometimes there are long lines due to Jewish holidays. Pharmacy veteran staff are amazing! They have started offering deals in the app. That makes prices better. Open 24 hours makes it easy to shop. Staff, overall, is incredibly helpful.

The staff are very friendly and the selection is reasonable. The biggest issue comes in the form of the produce. Many times the produce is of a lesser quality than other local supermarkets. It is not uncommon to see rotten produce or get a pack of something that has some mold growing in it. This has happened on many occasions. It is unfortunate due to the fact that the prices are often very competitive. Additionally some of the displays and variety in the kosher section are lacking. This is particularly true of the kosher cheese section. I have also had similar issues with moldy or defective product when it comes to certain cheeses. All in all, this is a decent store to shop in with friendly staff. Just inspect your items well when it comes to produce and dairy products. Everything else is good to go.

Fantastic Kosher marketplace with Chinese food, Deli, Bakery and Fish department. Back in Chicago and Tain Li Chow is gone. Got delicious sushi instead and a root vegetable salad.

Excellent large chain variety supermarket owned by Kroger's Albertsons. I like this location a lot and my other favorite is the kosher Jewel on Howard Street in Evanston.

Very good. Jewel has a nice selection of food. The employees could be a hair nicer, but other than that is an excellent jewel

I go mainly for the Kosher options - probably the best in the Midwest for everyday Kosher and especially good for Passover items. There is a prepackaged Halal meat section as well.

This is one of my favorite Jewels. I have two! This one has a large selection of kosher & gluten free (healthy)foods. They also have a nice size selection of ice cream. Just about every brand. The isles are nicely spaced & products placed. But they are bit pricey when you consider some of the other stores.

It's a great store with friendly workers. I'm born and raised in the area and have been coming here all my life, but recently there is an elderly woman with red short hair, her name is Maureen J, who treated me differently than the other customers in line. This happens on three occasions. I wear a scarf and when I pleasantly greeted her she did not respond. There was another lady with a scarf in my line and she sent her to another lane declaring her line was closed. It's a shame that you can treat others nicely in front of people that you're clearly discriminating against. I thought our society was better educated and more open minded.

I got help finding items from three employees, including the manager. With a self-checkout snafu, help was only a second away. I enjoy shopping there.

Good! But how does one really rate grocery stores unless something terrible/exceptional happened? "Great! I got what I needed, minus the item(s) that was(were) sold out, paid and left! All in all, a good time."

Great store, very well run. They have a huge kosher section spanning 3 full aisles plus a kosher bakery, butcher, fish market and deli. They also have a kosher salad bar. The kosher wine selection is quite impressive and priced competitively. They are really good at staffing up for busy days/hours.

A staff member from the deli was helpful even though it was not open. I loved seeing a cashier wearing a mask to protect me and herself.

This Jewel has a full Kosher grocery with sushi, deli, prepared fruits and veggies, meat, fish and 4 full aisles of frozen and grocery items including wine and spirits. One stop shopping with a regular grocery store in the same place, I no longer have to go ton3 different stores. Thanks Jewel
