Whole Foods Market

Another terrific experience at this very friendly Whole Foods. Nick at the service counter and Beralyn at the checkout were wonderful. Love the great selection of fresh produce. I’ll be back!

Passang is the best! This location is very clean and fully stocked! I arrived shortly before closing and the store was in pristine order. Picked up fresh produce which was also of great quality!

Nick was kind as well, along with another Pacific Islander in produce (evening shift) Very kind!

Saw a product demo today 5/20/23 for a Chicago produced kombucha called Kombuchade.

Great product!

Kombuchade is located in Aisle 15 in the cooler.

Didn’t know they had a cafe!

Barista recommended some date and cardamom flavor.

Delicious.

I always like going here for lunch, breakfast. I haven't been in a while. You can always find things that are not easily found at other grocery stores. The staff was very nice and helpful. This location is nice and has ample parking space.

We stopped in briefly to grab some overpriced smoothies. Luckily, the cashier told us about the Amazon Prime discount. Pulled out my app, she scanned the Whole Foods QR code, and $3.25 was off our bill.

Forgot to take pics of the smoothies, but I enjoyed my small Banana Nut Smoothie and he drank all of his large Strawberry Banana one.
Whole Foods was a lot more fun for me pre-2008 when disposable income was still a thing.

It's a beautiful store, well arranged, but I do not care for the parking lot.

Excellent, but there is a note when you visit the place. I hope you have a spare tire so you can use a stroller and save time. I prefer to bring a bag with me.

We waited 30 min in store for a pizza that I have ordered online and it was ready by the time we arrived there. I just wanted to tell the manager about this problem , eventually in the future to put the customer name on the order so there will be no confusion. Alissa was really nice and she offered to refund the money , because of our inconvenience. Thank you, Alissa!

Went to the bakery for a birthday cake, love the variety of cake options. The Black & White cake os the option I bought, and it was a hit!! The birthday boy loved it

I was introduced to Whole Foods in California at the apex of organic food awareness in the 80’s. Whole Foods offered organic and meats from their own ranches.

What was interesting about their meats was that they had a corporate rule that if an animal was sick in anyway they would not introduce it into their food chain, how amazing is that? I was all in and a lifelong client after that.

Showroom Experience
When I moved to Chicago I wanted to find a Whole Foods that had that customer first philosophy. I’ve been to several in the Chicagoland area and was extremely disappointed until I found this location. 1 hour drive and 2 hour round trip. No where is too far when you want great service!

I would like to share one example of extraordinary service!

I was salivating at the meat case and noticed that there’s white bread crumbs on the poultry and wanted to know where I could purchase it.

I looked up and a young man who appeared to be over 6 feet tall (big smile the radiated through the mask) came around the meat case and became my personal tour guide down the aisle to show me where I could purchase it.

How amazing is that?

That incredible young man who took the time to give me extraordinary and I might say personal service was Antonio. Antonio exemplifies the original philosophy set forth by Whole Foods.

Throughout my interactions Antonio my personal valet introduced me to his store!!!!!

He wanted me to have a good experience in his store!!!!

Catch that distinction?

How do you bottle that?

How do you duplicate that?

I tip my hat to the Whole Foods Managememt for making a good hire! why do I say this?

I watched Antonio go back to the meat counter and watched his “signature behavior” of serving the needs of the customer!

I am writing this is to compliment whoever trained Antonio and suggest that you might want to enroll Antonio into your management program. He gets it!

Checkout Experience
With the coronavirus creating havoc its kind of difficult for someone in the checkout stand to make a connection with a busy customer trying to get through a long line.

I observed a young lady name Cori as she ran food items across a scanner. I wanted to see if the training was store wide or an isolated experience. Cori confirm that it was store wide.

How did I know this? Consider these final three points;

1. Cori helped me locate my rewards icon on my app!
2. Cori cared about how my food was bagged!
3. Cori spoke professional to me and ensure she provided the icing for me that Whole Foods is my place

Thanks Whole food! Thanks Cori and Antonio for making my shopping experience a wonderful one!!!

Jeff, the Manager at this location really went out of his way to take care of me. Very genuine person and is a problem solver. Why isn't this guy running all the stores in the area?

All kinds of good food. Organic stuff-n-junk. A bit more $ than many stores, but it is quality stuff-n-junk. Some call it: "Whole Paycheck"...but it's not THAT expensive.

I love to shop in whole foods, many great products, fresh fruits and veggies
Service is great and checking out is fast.

Some good stuff here but you need a pallet of money to be able to buy all your groceries 😉

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. We started to use the Amazon grocery pickup and it has been such a time saver.
