Large size Jewel-Osco, lots of parking. If you are looking at the front of the building, produce is on the left, alcohol is on the right.

We stopped in to open a checking account at TCF. This location's branch is open until 7pm on weekdays. Most others close at 6.

We were also able to buy candy, cookies, fruit roll ups, a fresh sandwich from the deli and wine. Very short lines, only had 1 person in front of me.

this is my favorite jewel osco. it's not my local one but i drive an extra ten minutes to go there. their kosher and baking sections are well stocked. their in house bakery STANDS OUT from other jewel osco bakeries. the baker there has studied the internet and on top of the studies has a knack for pulling it off. the other jewel osco bakeries don't even come close

It's a grocery store and pharmacy. I've gotten my covid and flu vaccinations here and the pharmacists have been prompt, professional, and friendly.

The grocery prices are decent and selection is pretty good. Liquor selection can be sparse, but overall this is a good store in a convenient location.

My favorite Jewel in the area! The folks at the deli counter are always super friendly and slice everything perfectly.

I love the pharmacy! The workers are so wonderful and considerate there. I've tried other osco pharmacies, but they r really rude this one is a bit out of my way, but I'll take that for the piece of mind that someone nice will be taking care of me!! Thank you, pharmacy workers🙂

Clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. The parking lot was also clean and very well lit all things said I’d go back there again. Even though you do have to pay the Chicago bag tax. I would suggest bringing your own bags unless you want garbage cheapo bags to fall apart. Then that really is the lot the only thing that I have to say that is negative. But the actual store of the produce the bakery everything was well stocked vegetables were fresh. And my favorite the bread was still warm. Lol

9/3/21 Masks whether vaccinated or invaccinated. Sign on door. Employees maskless behind polystyrene barriers or let masks slip below nose. Not a great idea with mu or delta.
7/20/21 "Crazy 8 sale" - 8 dozen large eggs @ 88¢ each! Some other cheap prices. That app is a pain in the neck BUT I do save $5 over $50 and some of the deals on produce yield ongoing discounts. Some folks still don't get you can do this on the laptop or computer without the phone. I stack up everything in the cart, bag it in the car with reusable cloth, due to that
Chicago bag tax. Lately employees seem happier to help you, like Anastasia in meats.
Mask usage still in effect. No one went without one. Things are looking up.

Update: It's been a while since I was here. Not as busy late afternoon. Still nice and clean. Produce section seems to have more offerings. A whole section of organic nuts, almonds, sesame sticks, other snacks. Fresh cut fruit that looks fresh. Fresh produce but the later you shop the less you find. It pays to come earlier for things like iceberg lettuce.
Bakery has a nice array of cupcakes that by mid-afternoon starts to look half empty. Friendly, helpful staff - like Melanie in Floral - or Windy the front-end manager. Local, convenient for me - a short pleasant walk.
Huge parking lot with handicapped parking accessibility. Automatic wheel chair accessible doors.
This Jewel-Osco location at Foster and Pulaski started as a parcel of land owned by St. Lucas cemetery, sold to build a strip mall in the early '90's. It sits in front of a complex of residential homes and condos called Riversedge which does run along the Chicago river, on the side of Gompers Park, next to Labagh Woods. It has gone through a series of transformations as ownership changed from Jewel, to American Stores (it's best service IMHO), then Albertsons, Supervalu, then Cerberus - named the same as the hound of hades. Where once special orders from Chef's Kitchen, or grocery, were easy, now that stopped. Generics started taking over, President's Choice was decent. A few years ago aisles were built higher, wider. Selection seemed to improve. More ethnic food. Produce section revamped, in tiers. More organics. Yes the store is open 24 hours, til 12am Sundays, more limited on holidays. Selection now decent for refrigerated items, frozen, but better in larger Jewels. Decent meats. Nice salad bar but pricey. Rotisserie chicken, pork roast only if you're lucky and early, in that order. No extra large eggs at all unless they're pricey Eggland. This cage-free, vitamin packed just raises prices.
No liquor after 9pm. Binary WC accessible bathrooms but clean. Priced higher than Super Walmart and Costco but better selection.
It seems like there are more incidents of undomiciled folks who yell or scream outside the store - but don't actually bother anyone. Don't know why.

Pretty great prices, and I love their savings on my mix app. A fresh pass is great when you don't want to go out the rewards don't expire.

Store was clean, facilities clean, was able to find everything I needed. Employees were friendly and helpful. Prices the same as any other store. Prices have gone up a lot since the pandemic, same as all the other stores. My husband & I both use motorized carts. When they see us, they right away send someone to get them for us.

I went to jewels for fresh fruit, you know pineapple, strawberries, watermelon already sliced. The fruit is sweet and readily and easily accessible. I like going to jewels when I get off work in the mornings 6 am they are open and its not a bunch of people in there as I am there soon as the doors are unlocked. Try going at that time, you can get in get your shopping done and not bump into anyone or have to wait til someone decides to move along so you can get to the item you want. It's just a great time to shop. Try it.😁

Of all jewels near our home this one is the best. 6 corners jewel the aisles are usually blocked as they stock the shelves and have a attitude when you try to get past.

The staff are super friendly at this location which is why I give it 5 stars. Their produce isn’t amazing but I don’t expect much. The main complaint are honestly the patrons at this location. Ive run into the most rude not socially conscious humans ever here. Reaching over you to grab something, hitting your feet with their carts and general negativity. Also noticed a lot of customers here wear their masks under their nose, no thanks. But again, staff are always helpful and nice, plus a big parking lot.

This is my go-to Jewel. It seems the best managed of the others I've been to. If you can catch the chicken wings fresh cooked, they're some of the best I've had. The checkers are conscientious about items that could leak and separate them, and I've had them put rubber bands around items like blueberries that could open accidentally. If you enroll in their savings program you can save quite a bit of money. After the BOGO deals and coupons from the app were processed at checkout, I saved over $40.
