I LOVE this place! They have the best selection of foreign films and even have out-of-print DVDs. Also, the guys who work here are awesome.

Really cool video store they have many rare movies that you can rent of all genres. I stopped by after work and was pretty cool spot.

Small but mighty. Always fun to find a movie store these days, since they're far and few between. I just came to browse, but was happy with the selection. The staff clearly knew their stuff. Good find.

for rental. CineFile Video is a GREAT DVD rental
store, they have a wide selection of Movies, covering popular titles, and a large section of
Foreign Films. Stop by and see it for yourself.

Love this video store! I try to go once a week. They don’t have everything, but they come close. Check it out and I’m sure you’ll find something to rent. It’s like a time machine.

Happy that I have a subscription here. I definitely feel better supporting my local movie rental shop than other big streaming platforms. After my first visit and signing up a subscription I didn’t even have to show id; they recognized me. I was shocked.

Their selection is diverse and extremely well categorized. Definitely my favorite part about the shop—besides the outstanding customer service—is that directors have their own subsection in the category they belong to.

If you’re in the area and love movies this spot is a must visit.

Simply the best. If it's a movie you should see, they have it. I've been coming here on and off for more than 10 years. I think especially now, instead of switching through whatever Netflix, HBO, or Amazon Prime subscriptions you have (which I do as well), it is still a much better, more real, more tangible experience to hang out here for a while and pick out a few DVD's than to scroll through a feed of movies designed to get you to continue your product engagement on a streaming platform. I'm a software engineer working in monetization, trust me I know. Just pick a couple for the week here, in a nice physical location. Ask whoever's working what you should watch - they have good taste to boot. Or just pick em by the cover like you'd do online anyways. Just all around the best place in LA to rent your films.

Love the staff! They’re super nice, and they know everything! Excellent selection, and I love how everything is organized. The director’s wall is THE BEST!

The store is so cool and stylish I was in constant awe, but also really comfortable. The collection of movies is so deep and varied that it really is a film buff’s dream. There are dozens of different categories and they are also divided by director. It’s important to keep in mind that this is a rental store, there are only a couple of items for sale.
It was a pleasure seeing so many quality movies to choose from. And also the dude on the counter was incredibly nice and helpful. I love it.

The ultimate museum of film- And you get to take movies home from it! How remarkable is that, movie lovers? Merch and DVDs Blu Rays also for sale at unbeatable prices! The best deal is the monthly membership which grants you access to the whole library with unlimited access!!

It's the best! If you're at all interested in movies, you're going to CineFile. They've got almost everything. It's great for both coming in with a list or browsing without an agenda. Top-tier selection of region-coded discs so you can see all sorts of international insanity. The guys who work there are great as well.

Heaven for a film buff. Not many places like this left, so great to see them still going strong. They have nearly any movie you can think of, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience.

The guys that work here are so knowledgeable. Everytime I've been researching a topic they always point me to new and interesting finds. Unless your a super film nerd it can be a bit intimidating trying to navigate this store but if there is something in particular you want the guys here are friendly and will help you find it. Otherwise I think their category system is great as I've stumbled onto many gems thanks to it.

Cool selection of lots of very hard to find titles that are NOT streaming. Helpful staff and good hours. Rates are reasonable, especially if you get a monthly plan. Highest recommendation.

Great place, prices and service! Always satisfied. They have what I'm looking for everytime I go. Call ahead if you want to make sure of a product being in stock. I love that they alphabetise all the movies too.
