Hawaiian Walmart! We found great souvenirs and I was able to get a "shipload" of crafting supplies to use during our cruise back to LA! I'm a happy cruiser!!

Great place for great value. Just like on the mainland. When I went in I was greeted friendly smiling there was a local news football team and cheer group outside getting contributions but they didn't ask any service they only asked for locals they were so cute. But when I went in the Walmart I found exactly what I was looking for swimsuits at great prices the clearance rack that was full of deals as well and $12 sarong and six dollar half along. The only downside where the men's shirts the Hawaiian ones, were 2898 or something basically $30. But they had good deals on women Hawaii shirts and tanks for about $16. They were also those active swimsuit almost bodysuit type of swimsuit they had a great selection of everything in all sizes. I mean there were zero to two sizes as well as up to 4X on the clearance rack and on the shelves. Really something for everyone or every woman looking for swimwear or a last-minute cover up. The cover-ups were about $21. I don't think that they ever really go out of stock I would imagine but I'm sure they have the cover-ups on the clearance rack from time to time too. I found all the trial size toiletry items I needed quickly. The line was almost non-existent better than my local Walmart stores. McDonald's was right inside and got rice for the kids. It was a great Walmart experience.

Workers are very friendly, but the prices of the dog and cats foods are very expensive and customers are on limited income. So if you could lower the price on it that could be nice. Thank you.

The interior layout is backwards from most other walmarts. They have good deals on camping necessities.

Easy in & out if you're looking for snacks, soda, trail mix, and protein snack bars. Friendly staff too!

Ate the birria short ribs and they were great! I went with a party of 12 and we all basically ordered the whole menu. The seafood is AMAZING and in short I would say the entire menu is a solid 8/10.

Had what I needed and they added self checkout on the garden side of the store, which is awesome, because self checkout up at main entrance is always packed. Made things go a lot quicker than I had expected, considering the amount of people that were there.

It’s small but the staff is the best you’ll ever find and even the shoppers/community can’t be beat. Just the nicest people. So clean too

Love the service, and you can get a lot of goods to travel back home instead of going to the coffee farms, big island candies or mauna loa

Been here many times. A lot of empty shelves. Can find what you need. The lovely lady checking receipts at the door always has a smile and almost every cashier is friendly.

Food prices are pretty good and the store is clean. The staff is VERY helpful and informative. Very different from other Walmarts I have been too.

Enjoyed my visit to this Walmart store when we were in Hawaii, and refreshingly, the product was not locked up! Friendly place!

Busy but not terrible for the holiday season. Had lots in stock on many items that were out last week.

It was a great visit to Walmart in Hilo. It was not too crowded.the cash out lines were fadt.

Thank God for Walmart! The restaurants around here in Hilo are loaded with super fatty greasy food and chefs that care nothing about the food they serve. I was glad to have a store that I could buy basic food from.
