Shaw's

The prices at Shaws are good, much better than Stop & Shop and Big Y. I play my lottery there sometimes, Gabby in customer service is super sweet. I get my steak from John the butcher and he always cuts it perfectly and trims all the fat off. The other stores always screw up the order.

I’ve recently switched to Shaw’s as my go-to supermarket, even though the Foxboro Stop & Shop is mere blocks from my home. I couldn’t stand another minute there.

Shaw’s offers several things that Stop & Shop hasn’t been able to provide reliably in years: beautiful produce with a wide variety and selection, an ACTUAL organic department, unlike the sad single island at S&S, a well-stocked pre-sliced deli for grab and go, and a meat department TWICE the size of that at S&S.

Don’t be fooled by S&S “card” prices… they just jack the prices up to make you think you’re saving money. My total was $94 for 2 small bags of groceries at my last visit. At Shaw’s, I purchased 55 items, and my total was $200, and that’s even with 2 roasts, Drain-O and cold cuts… items that are quite expensive.

They frequently have manager specials on meat. Their prices are what you see… no gimmicks. Their sales are often done in quantity (must by 2, etc) but they make it worth your while.

Their self-checkout is huge. I never have to bag my own groceries in the regular checkout, either, because it looks like people actually want work here, so they’re well-staffed.

I strongly recommend you get out of the other place and go to Shaw’s in Mansfield.

(The Sharon location is a bit smaller, older and could use some updating, but it’s still way better than S&S).

The cashiers have difficulty making change when you provide pocket change to perfect the transaction. LOL
-last week one tried to give 10$ too much.
-tonight I was almost shorted $0.68. LOL

Making change with the machine and in your head is confusing at times for the very young at times; wait until you get older?

They have a large selection of products. They recently remodelled their produce coolers, so they have doors. The produce is varied and plentiful. The clerks are helpful if you can't find an item. The cashiers and baggers are friendly and courteous. The store is always clean and never cluttered. The prices are competitive.

They have everything stop and shop has only cheaper

Shaws is the only grocery store around that carries the vegetarian fish that my boys and I like. It is also close by our house, so very convenient.

Bought an outdoor table at the Mansfield Shaw's today and I couldn't believe how super helpful and friendly the staff was. Mario was the best! He went above and beyond! Shaw's is very lucky to have him on their team.

Service was very good, no wait at the checkout lines even on Friday night. Had all the products I was in need of and there were alot of items on sale. Just a real pleasant experience for not a normally pleasant job. Way to go. I'll be back

My favorite grocery store! On occasion the store did not have what I was looking for. Decent prices and great selection of products. I'm always asked if I need assistance or if I found everything. Sometimes there are not enough registers open but it is not a big deal. Love the new gas points program!

Nothing like a visit to a different mega-grocery store in a different town. It was fun to wander the aisles seeing the regional brands next to the national brands I am familiar with.

Large store with good selection including fresh produce, specialty cheese section, etc. Location is convenient and close to other stores as well for an easy doing trip. The checkout lines are reasonable and shelves are all stocked.

Had the western omelet.. It was quite GOOD.. Their coffee is really, really Good. Service was excellent..If you enjoy a Great Breakfast this is for You.

Really nice store! Great service and amazing selection. Stopped in on the way back to Connecticut from the Boston airport and my toddler had to potty. Clean facilities, friendly staff! Loved it!

First time at customer service desk . I was treated with respect and the girl that helped me went above and beyond. Im going to find out who she is and make sure her bosses know what a fabulous responsible service desk worker they have.

Shaw's is great, we've been going there ever since Stop & Shop went on strike. Lower prices. Better atmosphere. Store staff awesome.
