AJ's Fine Foods

If you haven’t been to AJ’s you are missing out. This store makes me happy every time I go to it. The selection on specialty foods is like no other store in the area. It’s the only place I can find Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers and Mark Ferrari coffee. I stock up on the San Pasquale Salad Dressing each time I go! They have great florals and home decor. The bakery is amazing. The made to order sandwiches are so good. Their square cooler bags for purchase are the best! It’s not the cheapest grocery store but it is worth it!

Grabbed a tea and sushi for a quick lunch. Teas are refillable and refreshing. sushi was made fresh and afordable.

This store used to be one of my favorites esp around Christmas time. That was years ago. After moving back here from Colorado I couldnt wait to stop in. While the presentation was festive, the mood in the store was quite different. I no longer could find the bubbly, happy, helpful, knowledgeable employees. While that was sad, it didn't stop me from checking out the well displayed body/bath,/home area for special finds. The pizza is still great and there is outdoor seating. Bakery is a must see. Quality has not changed (like a lot of places)- it's still great quality and I'd much rather get my espresso drinks here than Starbucks. About half the price and they taste better. They also have a terrific wine department. There are high end wines as well as inexpensive (under $20) great wines that have been Cellar Master selected. Also cigar humidor for the cigar aficionados. It's a cool store to check out and I'm really glad it's still there.

AJ's how I love thee.
Your selection of items that just can't be found elsewhere always impresses and astounds me.
From the 200+ marinades and sauces, to the 40 different aioli, to the nearly 100 balsamic and olive oil varieties.
The wonderful selection of craft beers, wines and liquors.
The beautiful cheese variety, fresh sushi bar, and make your own salad section.
Don't forget the delightful amount of soaps, incense, and astounding floral department.
All the prices are fair and the store is as much fun to window shop as it is to actually take home and try all the wonderful flavors.
The outdoor cafe is a favorite brunch spot for locals.
Highly recommend this location of AJ's especially.

I don’t shop at AJ‘s on a regular basis. I do however love AJ’s for specialty things. They are my go to store for delicious bakery items to bring to an event, a nice bottle of wine for a party, specialty items for creating a cheeseboard, and they always have fun little items for hostesses gift or just a little something to spruce up your kitchen for the holidays. The shopping center is easy to get in and out of, they have a giant parking lot, and the staff is very helpful.

Enjoyed the variety. Can get stuff here that's hard to find! I'm starting to cook a lot and it's a great place for special ingredients

I was having a lazy day and stopped to pick up dinner for my son a couple days ago. He LOVED the salmon and vegetables. Ate more than he usually does. Since we're about to move on Friday, I'm just picking up dinner for him at AJ's until we leave. Astor is so friendly and helpful. He lets my son (1.5 yrs old) sample the food to make sure he likes it before we buy it. But everything is so well prepared, he hasn't not liked anything yet.

Got some cinnamon pear jam and they had beautiful floral selection I took some pics on my way to grabbing some almond milk and beets last week ;)

Very cool concept. Our first visit. Not at all like a big box grocery store. This store is quaint and very well designed and decorated. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They carry a good selection of groceries, meats, fish, breads, pastries, wines, etc, but in smaller quantities and without the many many duplicate choices that you'll find in a typical grocery store. Kinda felt a bit European to me. What really impressed me was the vast selection of specialty imported, mini and standard sized holiday chocolates and confections, which added to the European feel. Many items are priced well but others will set you back. We were hosting friends for dinner and needed chicken breasts. Paid $7.99 a pound, but in return, the freshness and high quality and uniform sizing were spot on. You won't waste your time if you go at least once to experience "something different".

UPDATE DEC 31 2020:
It’s New Year’s Eve and time to go out in style. Bought two HUGE beef tenderloins at AJ’s this morning and they’re gonna hit the grill just minutes from now. 2020 was a challenge for us all and we’re happy to move on.

Great high quality store. They got a ton of great fresh salads, pizza, sandwiches, and a huge wine and cigar selection. By far my favorite store to shop at!

AJ's Deli is second to none! Everything is delicious with many quick lunch or dinners, a wonderful bakery as well!! Enjoy!

Love love love this place …. Great coffee and pastries on a Sunday morning to sit outside with friends and catch up on life 😎 they have the best goods and great finds from quality suppliers!

I love to come here for there floral department. It's almost like a hidden gem. I have found regardless of what time of year it is, they always have a great selection of unique beautiful and exotic flowers you won't see at your average grocer. When you first walk through the doors you're surrounded by elegant and artistic floral arrangements and designs on both sides. If you soak in the scents and beautiful visuals for a moment you forget you're in a grocery store!!

The bakery in this store is absolutely delicious. The cannolis are at the top of my list. Friendly helpful employees add to an enjoyable shopping experience.

The staff at AJ's are always so helpful and courteous. I love the variety of desserts in the bakery, variety of cheeses in the deli, not your typical chocolate candy variety, exotic selection of fruits and veggies, house plant variety is awesome!

Love their sushi and hamburgers. Workers are normally pretty friendly. Just a genuine nice place to have lunch.

I can always find tasty baked treats for special occasions & I'm a big fan of their crunchy tuna salad from the deli department -- it's positively delicious 😋

There is a section upfront that has interesting gift items -- some are quite pricey, but the items are often very unique.

There's also an alcove at the back of the store where you can find beautiful gift bags and cards for every occasion 🥰

The staff is always so friendly and helpful 🥰

Love their fresh salad bar and deli area & I am particularly fond of the chunky tuna salad made with small apple bits 😋

I have been looking for a great hamburger place closer to home. The place I have been going to is in Tempe; until I had a hamburger at AJ's Fine Foods on the patio. It was delicious! The BBQ Master was very busy, but he was polite and took the time to get my large order correct. I can see, taste and smell why there was a line. Worth the wait! There are many sides you can order with your choice of meat or meatless burgers. I am so happy I found a delicious and well-priced burger closer to home.
P.S. The BBQ Master could use some help during the busy hours.

I would give this 7 stars if I could. Have been going to AJ's for years for absolutely everything. From their blue cheese/bacon Angus burgers, to their scratch kitchen hot meals, to sushi and the wine selection is "amazing"!! The pastry area and iced coffee is the bomb and do NOT even think of leaving the produce area without filling up your cart. Everything is displayed so lovely. Such a great experience walking thru the florist area and whimsy household "chingers". Love love love

The floral display is beautiful, the produce is set out in such a manner you want to take it all. Our favorite spot for tea and yummy baked goods.
