These days it is a rare rare find. Books.
I live far away now. Have never ever found this kind of gift..

Absolutely wonderful place. Just walking in I felt I could spend days just browsing what was available. Jan was extremely helpful, and has a large and well organized collection of books.

Potential customers are scammers, so don’t bother calling them.
I usually drive to Troy to their used bookstore because I thought that was the only one locally with a large selection. I found this store and their number with a google search and called to see if they possibly had a copy of Pet Sematary that I could buy while I was in town for errands. However, I didn’t even make it that far into the phone call. The woman who answered was instantly hostile. One of us must have been in an area with bad reception, because her voice was cutting out. I asked her “can you hear me?” She snapped, “who is this?” I paused and asked, confused, “is this Jan’s Bookstore?”. She said “yes. Now can I tell you something? Don’t answer a call with ‘can you hear me?’. That’s a scam.” I paused again, and said “I’m sorry. You were cutting in and out.” She quickly said, “call back later” and hung up on me without a goodbye. Guess that answers my question, I’ll just keep making the drive to Troy. I see the owner has chosen to ignore my review to answer others’ as well. Doesn’t send a good message.
