Bishops' Storehouse

This place is wonderful. If you're needing help financially and you get approval from your bishop, you can get free groceries here and be able to feed your family. I had to a few years ago and it was so helpful! I went here again recently with my grandma to purchase food storage for family for Christmas. Great service, everyone who works here is on a service mission. Extremely friendly environment and people! They even helped us to our car!

30 year shelflife in #10 cans.... Amazing! Many other products as well. Testament of goodness and kindness demonstrated in service of people who work here (mostly volunteers) and in the production, packaging of products. Pretty amazing beyond the shelf life of products.

This is a place of love. The LDS church runs this place, and it's for people who need help with food. Even if you're not LDS, the local bishop can help you

I truly miss this Bishops’ Storehouse. I was able to purchase storable. I recently move to Arizona (Glendale) and the Bishops’ storehouse brothers are not friendly and just basically sent me on my way empty handed.

Recent experience has made appreciate all you have done for me when I lived in Ogden. Thank you and keep up the lords work.

I served as a missionary here and it was an amazing place to serve. The people are so kind and loving. Wonderful environment where everyone is welcome always no matter who you are. You won't leave this wonderful place without getting help and feeling the love of your Heavenly Father and your savior!

These guys really stepped up and helped me the nice young gentleman were so kind to help me to my car .

Clean, efficient and friendly. Also super helpful. I drove a neighbor who, I guess was receiving some help? I was so impressed by how they treated her and how happy they were to help her get what she needed and answer all questions she had. I certainly had plenty of my own. Wow, what an amazing system.

Great help when we have been in need as my husband was unemployed. Lots of the food is better quality than I get at my regular grocery store.

Have to have a food order approved by a bishop. Missionarys do well to have it ready for us. Call before you arrive to make sure they will have it ready.They bring the order to the car just go in their and tell them your name. We don't always ask for food but if you need to and you have a bishop this one is great. They have cheese ice cream and toiletries and household items.

Nice. Organized. You have to wait to see a bishop and then they will give you a voucher for food possibly clothing at the d i. They usually want people to come back and volunteer a few hours for the help that they get. All in all a great program.

Everyone is always so friendly and ready to help you with anything.

Such a great place to go when you need a little help during the month with food or select household products. The missionaries are always so nice and helpful. They get you in and out as fast as possible. Just remember, to get food from here you must contact your local bishop that pertains to the ward youre in or the relief society president to get a food order. If you're homeless, they have bishops there to help. Always call beforehand because their hours change from day to day.

Everyone is so helpful and the sales are always changing. Perfect place to build on your Emergency Storage <3
My husband and I work on it little by little and the comfort it brings knowing that if something happens we can still put food on the table is worth so much more then what we pay.
You will never find these prices anywhere else but a storehouse. So blessed to have one so close

Newly remodeled, super clean and immaculately organized. The Brothers, Sisters, Elders and Volunteers are most helpful. Shelves are well stocked and there is always an amazing selection of fresh fruits and vegetables in season. Services for recently incarcerated individuals and those in need are available from the Transient Bishop's office located inside the Storehouse. Call ahead for hours and days open.

This place is amazing. Really great things they're doing here.

I am the Bishop of a local ward and can tell you this service is provided largely by volunteer hours. Those who are dishonest will always find a way to backdoor any system, we know it will happen, and certainly the Lord knows. They will be held accountable by Him, so we don't focus on that.

Instead, we focus on helping those who under certain circumstances need help. All of these resources are to be used wisely, and they are provided as a short term means to fill the occasional gap that happens in life, for example layoffs, or loss of hours at work because of legitimate illness. It's not intended to be a long term solution and Bishops help protect these sacred resources but also order the distribution of them. It's an act of mercy for the honest and the dishonest alike.

Why not go to your local bishop? The Lord expects us to learn how to honestly provide for ourselves and those who discharge this responsibility will be held accountable by the Lord himself. He knows. In the meantime, we, the imperfect people & bishops, are doing the best we know how with His resources -and that is all that He has asked us to do.

Missionaries are truly about service! Quality, cleanliness, and organized/efficient product as well as facility ... Quiet, kind environment. So impressed. We are loved!!! 💖
