I love the dollar store. They usually have a out anything you need. You can run in grab it and get out in no time and they have people who know what they are doing at the registers. That is a big plus and they are friendly

Clean. Organized. Wide variety of items. Not all dollar generals are the same.
Quick food pick up for something you forgot or snacks.
