The cleanest dollar general I have ever been !!! Stay away from the east side ones if you don't want a bad experience.

They have these really cool shoes imitation Converse they're awesome with the whole Dollar general outfit check it out try it on it's awesome

The young lady working this past Sunday morning was exceptionally kind and very pleasant to all customers with greetings everyone that walked in and also was working hard Stocking shelves in between working at the counter. The store is like you have such good quality employee.

The company just hired a young woman. I don’t remember her name but I know she’s working right now as I post this. She has a beautiful energy. She remembers everyone who comes in often. She is very energetic and sweet. I came in just now and I was so down and upset over a situation, and she literally made me feel better by saying hi, i said sorry I’m back i forgot something. And she said it’s ok. I love seeing my regulars faces. She is just a breath of fresh air. And even though this is just a store I walked out smiling. She should be a manager if she already isn’t. I wish i knew her name. Long black hair, black frame glasses. And while standing in line I witnessed her give this energy to two other people that walked in. I’d definitely promote her. Beautiful individual. I’d like her to know who said it. Give her a raise. Thanks

Lots of cool cheap stuff. Good parking. It's a good idea to go here before you go to GE or Heinens. Also Whole Foods and Lucky's. I don't do food here but household items and pet items are solid. The store is pretty clean and workers are helpful. One suggestion is to play music. It was dead silent. To the point it felt eerie. Otherwise I recommend and will be back.

It's a great store. Now that a new manager has taken over, the place is super clean. Very well organized and stocked. The employees are beyond helpful and always VERY friendly. People have to understand, with one register open, they do what they can with what they can. Patience is a virtue. 2 entrances. Huge parking lot in the back, recently repaved! Great location in downtown Lakewood!

you'll find pretty much everything you need for your home plus. They have food, beer, wine and more. They are NOT one of the stores that sells fruits and vegetables. Which is fine in my book. But, they do have other frozen foods and cold foods.
Don't think twice about coming here! It's really nice!

I always can get lost in there! The best prices on all my cleaning needs!! Love it!! The staff is very friendly. If they don't want to be there, you never know it!!

Can't go wrong with Dollar General. My go-to store for cheap snacks, soda, pet care, home supplies, decor, health/beauty supplies, and seasonal items. Friendly and personable staff, and the store is usually kept clean and organized.

The crew here is awesome, super helpful and friendly! The store also has competitive prices, lots of things you can find cheaper here than other local stores, same brands and all.

Great deals! This is one of the better Dollar Generals. They always have everything stocked and there are never boxes out everywhere. The staff are all friendly:)

However they discontinued Roast Beef.
Is it because the company is on a vast decline or is it because they decided to stop serving pork to suit ones religious belief??

This is just my store for all my odds and end cleaning and bathroom stuff! I still get good deals, always acknowledged when I walk in and the workers are super friendly!
