Deseret Book

I like Deseret Book's variety and everything you can get in their stores. It seems like the downtown location gets more material than other stores which is unfortunate. It is a lot more convenient for me to go to the Cottonwood Heights location.

The downtown has ice cream, temple things, missionary things, art, children area, youth, top books, leader book session, etc.

Aside from this Deseret Book being in the perfect location, it also has a large variety of choices when it comes to purchasing books, movies, paintings, music, crafts and so on. The staff is always friendly and they are helpful when looking for something specific. If you need anything additionally Spiritually uplifting in your life, or you're looking for something that can bring your family a little closer together, shop here to get something that will enlighten your day.

Wow!! Chris and Cassie at the Gem studio made our Bachelorette party an amazing experience!! They were so kind, so patient, and so fun to chat and hang out with. The price is worth the experience and the beautiful jewelry you get to make just for you! Thank you guys!!

A great place for all kind of people even not member of the church of. Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, you can find books , games , 3D printing , art, cloths miscellaneous stuff the prices are fair and the atmosphere is perfect. Great bilingual employees

Great place and awesome products!

This location is awesome! They have an amazing assortment of Christmas nativity sets on display, more than any other store that I’ve been to. The employees are very respectful. This store is very clean and well maintained. I would recommend parking at city creek parking, which is free for 2 hours, if you plan on visiting this store.

After being a regular visitor of this Deseret Book for almost a year, I figured it’s time to leave a review.

I love this store. They always have the most uplifting and spiritual selection of artwork, books, home decor, and much more. The employees are always so quick and eager to help customers. From Johnathon to Michelle to Scott to Heather to Neil — all of them, really — they’ve always delivered amazing customer service. They’re always able to give their honest opinions and recommendations for gospel-related books, and they’ve even helped me find the PERFECT books or gifts, even when I wasn’t sure what I was looking for!

It’s easy for me to say that I love this place, since I love bookstores in general. But this is THE bookstore to bring your family to downtown. There’s a Crumbl cookie shop inside, fun 3D printers to watch, a beautiful gallery of art, a kids’ section with books and TVs with children’s’ shows, and even a few seats and tables to sit, lounge, and charge your phone.

If you visit as often as I do, I would recommend signing up for their platinum rewards program. It’s $25/year but I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten back at least $100 in store credit. I think it was Christopher who first told me about this program, and it’s honestly the best! I’ve literally bought DOZENS of books from this store, and it’s worth it!

This Deseret Book location is always changing up their decor to match the season, whether it’s Christmas or Easter or any other relevant holiday. The bathrooms are always clean, which is such a bonus!

I always visit this store when I’m downtown, and when Temple Square feels a little too chaotic because of the construction, I come here. Thanks for being such an amazing shop!

I love Deseret Book but it's an hour a way and rarely has what I need . . . Don't Miss This Daily Devotional for the B of M, large print B of M, right size in religious clothing . . .

Nicely remodeled book store full of good books and church materials. Very nice staff and easy to find layout. The art gallery is interesting to peruse. They don’t know what they are doing putting a crumble in the store! Oh they know exactly what they are doing! Same with the cougar creamery ice cream!

Weather year of the faith or not it's the best place to go to get anything as far as books and other assorted religious items but the people are always friendly and helpful and I wouldn't go any other

Nice large store with a large art selection which was nice to look at. There was a nice sized children’s book area and an ample selection of books to choose from. It also has an ice cream shop attached. Worth stopping in and taking a look around when in downtown SLC.

Enjoyed the recently redone interior and organization. Everything was pretty easy to locate and the staff was fantastic. The best part would easily be the ice cream parlor and sweet shop attached to the store!!

Beautiful store!!! On your left: Like an art museum, but for free, and everyone is laid back and super nice. A true celebration of the plan of happiness 😊 Go right and you find treasures for kids and friends and family. The kind of presents you feel good about giving. Great media selection, ties,LOVE the bags. In a word...uplifting 💗
