Another positive experience with great customer service at Big 5 in Hillsboro, we got in, found what we needed, used an online coupon (Note, screen shots not allowed, had to pull up actual email to use $10 off of $50 coupon)...Store was clean & organized, staff were friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this store to anyone thinking of stopping by & checking it out for their sporting good needs.

Great employees. We spent probably 15 minutes alone just talking with the employees, very nice and respectful people.

I really needed a specific Avia shoe and two of the staff looked high and low to find it in my size, which they ultimately did. Ask them to grab your shoe size from the back of the store. Helpful and friendly staff oct 23 2022, 10am. Was seriously impressed with their selection of steel toe and tactical & sidezip boots. I've never seen Smith and Wesson boots in store but I was impressed with the build quality, materials, and price. I really wanted to get them, but honestly I don't need them. I saw some really good reviews on the response gear patrolman steel toe boots. Pictures of them worn down after years of use. Pretty impressive for $45 shoes. Never again will I buy cheap junk shoes from Walmart, ross, tj max, etc.
They even had some good value skate shoes that looked worlds better than Walmarts budget China stuff. I like buying cheap skate shoes that are somewhat durable, because they just get worn out anyway, so no use in spending $80 on Falken or DC's. I noticed there was no plastic in the heel support of Big 5's skate shoes. Which is something I have become entirely fed up with from other brands, because the plastic part will start poking into your foot once it wears through - so props to the procurement department. I will update this review on how the shoes hold up. But, total score for some skate shoes and steel toe boots for $65 total out the door.

I'm very satisfied with their products. I bought two pair of Adidas socks. The socks are comfortable & kept my feet from blistering. I've gone into Big 5 with family in the past years. Great local sporting goods store.

Went there for men's active shoes. They have a decent selection of shoes at more reasonable prices. Many of the shoes are available to try on right away because the boxes are there. They have decent sales on things. Of course they don't have a huge a selection as much bigger stores, but for the size of the store, the selection is good - and you don't have to navigate the mall or large parking lot. The young man who rang up our purchase was very nice.

This store is fairly large and has a good selection of products. They have always been well staffed and the employees are very helpful. This is a great place to go for fitness equipment, apparel, and footwear. They also have of the many essentials for camping. They have some really good sales on occasion.

Wow come here for shoes they are half price all day every day, these pumas I got the other day for a homeless man where only $39.99 I got my self a pair at the same time.

The associates were very helpful. They even put air in my son’s first soccer ball

Helpful staff as always. Love this store coz they have almost everything sports you need.

Best place for winter sport outfits!

The employees went out of their way to get me a new box set of gym equipment instead of me buying their unboxed display model. I didn't ask but they took the initiative to make me a happy customer. I will definitely be going back to that store because of their employees and excellent customer service. Thank you guys!

I called about a pair of boots the gentleman that answered the phone melvine was very helpful polite on the phone great attitude and will be bringing my business there more because of him.

This store was in a long line of stores we tried today for Snowboots. They went above and beyond to help us find two pairs for our Giving tree Project. Absolutely would and will be back for future items.

They guy that helpednus pick out my moms Birthday knife. Was amazing. He helped was very knowledgeable and gave us a good price. ;) wish I had got his name.
