H Mart Belmont

HR is one of my favorite markets to buy fresh seafood and I come here on the regular and I’m was so excited to see that they now have Live King Crabs!
I can’t afford to buy any right now, but they sure are pretty to look at along with all of my other favorites that they have ready to eat right now!
Is fall, and I love persimmon and can eat at least wanted to a day and I love stocking up on them so, they have them here for a great price!

Found my rice crackers! Will definitely return! And probably the best place to be at in the summer time cuz they have a killer AC that we thought was just for the produce, but it was cold all around that place!! 😆🙃😉

This store is amazing! Plenty of incredible food items and even a delicious looking hot food section. I highly recommend coming here if you want to try something new or different. Also the greatest ramen section I've ever seen in a store!

H Mart is the best. So much amazing prepared food. I didn't realize they carry everything for fresh sushi, which is awesome.
All the best brands of ramen, kimchi, dumplings, bao and all the sauces. Lots of veggie sides ready to go makes dinner easy to prep.

04/30/19: 4.5 out 5 - Came here with my mother-in-law because she wanted to see what it is all about. This would make it m second visit in a matter of days. And, I don't live in the area!

To her surprise, she enjoyed the layout and was quite surprised on how great most of the prices were. It would be only obvious then that she would have to pick up some items. She also commented on how clean the store was for an Asian market. Keep in mind, we are Asians and we go to MANY kinds of Asian markets.

It was definitely a worthwhile visit for her. She'll most likely will want to come back and so will I.

If you get a chance or in just in the area, definitely check out H Mart. There's even a little eatery inside called "K-Town". Simple menu and very tasty.

04/27/19: 4.5 out 5 - Finally got a chance to check out H-Mart since its Grand Opening after it has taken the spot that was formerly Zupan Market.

Decided to come to H-Mart after my running group had gotten a bite somewhere nearby. Parked off the street, but found out later that there is a parking structure for H-Mart customers.

It's not a huge space but it definitely suffices for the demographic area. It was a bit crowded at first since it seems like the employees were still putting inventory out However, the place was still clean and, for the most part, organized.

The shelves were stocked with such an array of other ethnic foods along with H-Mart's regular inventory of Korean goods. Very pleased to see that.

The produce look great. Looked fresh and very clean. A variety of sorts, as well.

The meat and seafood department looked great, and the employees of that department were quite helpful.

Overall, H-Mart seemed to transition well into the neighborhood, and provides a great variety of items in a small space with decently low prices to go with.

I do hope for its success for the area it is in.

This is the nicest H MART I've ever been to!!! The staff is supremely friendly and helpful! My cashier even suggested I exchange one of my bitter melons for a fresher one. Great tip! Because I had never really picked them out before I didn't know what to look for. The prices are just STUNNING and affordable!! It has very luxurious decor for an H Mart too! I snapped some pics while I was there!! Enjoy your new neighborhood grocery!

My boss gave me a lot of friendly services and snacks for free! This place was so good that I could be counted as a tower! When I come to Potlend, the first thing I do is to listen to hmart, and I really ate a lot of my favorite snacks here.

So convenient that there is garage parking (7' height limit). Store is well stocked with a great selection of meats and produce, as well as fresh and dry noodles of all kinds. Great selection of Asian sauces and the prices are reasonable.

Such a great addition to this area. Large selection of items, both in the center store and at the deli. I have yet to try the small restaurant but if it's as good as the deli, I'll be super happy, especially since they offer ramen.
And the smell! I don't know why it is, but all of the Asian grocery stores I've shopped in (stateside and abroad) have the same smell...and I love it, but it's difficult to describe.
If you love Asian food, beverages, and other trinkets, I highly recommend visiting.
If you're unsure, it's time to step outside your comfort zone. 🙂

Love H Mart stores and happy that a location, albeit smaller, was added to Portland. They have a wonderful selection of Korean, Chinese, a multi-ethnic Asian foods and ingredients we love. From fresh fruit and produce to fresh seafood and meat. They have a little bit of everything and then some. We buy our ingredients for hot pot here because the selection of meats and ingredients is better than the competition. You can also get some fresh food from the mini food court.

Came for gimbap, left with lots of goodies for lunch and we're currently in the middle of a pretty fantastic Korean dinner. If you're not brave enough or have the energy for cooking, they have lots of premade hot and cold food options. Beautiful produce. The lady at customer service was awesome. I will make the trip from NoPo again.

Shop HSmart, Shop H-Mart. Nice area, covered off street parking. Great selection but otehr than snacks and dry noodles, felt like mostly Korean items??? (ok because that's what we wanted). Didn't try hot food but looked pretty good. Some local items.

Love shopping at H Mart ! They didn’t have frozen crawfish tails the last time I went, which feels like an important product to carry, but perhaps not many other Portland locals are trying to cook up crawfish based Louisiana fare. Love their prepared food and precut meats, and I can never come here without a fresh baked red bean or custard bun for the road.

Love their warm freshly made food. They have a variety of items to choose from and it’s always in stock when I visit. They have a great selection of frozen and fresh items as well, my go to for frozen bao and dumplings!

Huge Asian grocery. Surprisingly, they did not have Wonton Soup base or the basket liners for steaming dumplings in a rice cooker. Otherwise, a good selection.

the best H mart in portland! the staff is friendly and the fish always looks so fresh. they have a variety of snacks and noodles. the veggies are also fresh and are always a good price.

H Mart is amazing! I can get specialty ingredients there for Asian and some Indian dishes. They have great produce and seafood, and an amazing sake selection. I also love their prepared food to take away. ❤

Absolutely love this store. I used to go to the Lakewood Washington location back home. Then I found out there was one here. They have a bibimbap station!!

This place always saves me on the holidays! They tend to be open when every other store is closed. Great selection of meats. Has everything I need. The Staff is always cordial and polite.

The best produce & fried tofu.
I was even able to score sriracha, which I haven’t been able to buy in a few years thanks to this planet destruction.
I nearly always get a rude cashier, but that’s okay, because the cool ones make up for it.
My advice, bring your own bags and pack them fast, because you will get all of your groceries piled up on the bagging side - be expected to pay while the cashier stands there doing nothing to help you, and the second your receipt prints they are throwing the next person in line’s groceries on top of yours for them to then bag up (this even happens while they aren’t busy at all)
