I LOOOOOVE THIS PLACE!!
Their tamale selection is to die for!!! Sooooo yummy 😋 😍
I especially love their strawberry tamale, coupled with their spicy Roja salsa

I also looove the selection of salsas, which are truly authentic Mexican salsas. The fresh guacamole and Agua frescas are truly tasty!!

They also have a wonderful selection of produce, with some varieties that aren't found at non-Mexican grocers... and I LOVE IT!!!!

The customers who shop there are every nice, as well. I don't speak Spanish well (at all), so when I want help with some of the traditional Mexican recipes and certain ingredients, the customers always kindly share and explain things to me.

The staff is very sweet and knowledgeable, too.

There’s times where this store is extremely busy but cashiers manage to check out the customers in a fast pace. Store is always organized and clean.

I’ve always wanted to visit a Northgate market because I’ve heard about the wide selection of tamales, hot sauces, meats, and more!! I was so happy to find everything and more, I stopped by the cafeteria area where I got a caldo de pollo - chicken soup w veggies, then I picked six tamales: 2 chicken, 2 pork, 2 beef! I also ended up grabbing a lot of other stuff that you wouldn’t normally find in regular markets like chicharrones, canned menudo, specific Mexican hot sauce and more! I’m definitely going back for the carniceria (mean section)!! Also, I haven’t seen fresh celery like that in any market even in Costco!!

I came here to get Ceviche and to my surprise there was more than one kind. It all looked so tempting. I tried the
#ShrimpAndGuacCeeviche and I was in heaven. Im definitely going back to try the others

The workers there are mostly friendly, with good attitude, are helpful as well. Restroom are open to customers, the code is # 1.2.3.4. & 5. Remember they do changed once in a while. Ask be4 you try, just never know so all around it very organized, will be very rare if you see any aisle messing the restroom both ways sometimes dirty and very clean. Mask inn as well, the food kitchen is good, the bakery is good & okay it all depends who bake it lol. Both enter & exit door are open, shopping on each side, the parking lot get sometimes frustrating when it packs of people's around holidays be4 and same day! Hard to find a parking spot, also it not a huge Northgate market or not to tiny market as well. Take good care of yourself, your beloved one's and Fams ✌🙏🏼.

I travel from East La to Inglewoods store because we like the quality and variety of meat cuts. I also go for our favorite cheese. Not all northgates have the cheese to fry.

They go out of their way to assist you

Great variety. The size of a vons or ralphs, but cleaner and fresher. Employee waiting with hand sanitizer at the door, disinfects carts between custumers. 1 pound of freshly cooked carnitas 8$. 1 freshly fried fish 4$. FRESH delicious shrimp & squid ceviche, fresh chicken salad. Fresh, affordable fruit & pastry.
Sabra humus with garlic or roasted red peppers 3$. I'm in 😍 love.

This store has the best ready to go hot meals I've ever tasted, specifically the "barbacoa, chiles rellenos" and the boneless fried chicken. This store really offers good quality products, and their name brand tortillas are pretty amazing as well.

Alright this is one of my favorite hispanic grocery store EVERR! Numero Uno ain't got nothing on this store. You needs fresh produce ✔ Fresh meat/Poultry/fish ✔ Fresh hot food ready to go ✔ cold cut food ✔ It has it ALL!!!! And at low cost rates. Definitely look into shopping here you won't regret it.

Great place to go for seasoning/spices, fresh flowers, and premade food items. I love getting the cooked tamales while thier hot but you can always buy them cold. Salsa has good flavor. Several ceviche options are available. They have a great selection of spices, herbs & fruit I can't always find at other grocery stores. And I always walk out with a bouquet of flowers. It can get busy but lines usually move fast. Masks required.
